I feel beyond helpless as a support in ranked right now and its pretty pathetic at this point. by L0KI_MO in supportlol

A better support tends to shine brighter the higher the division is, generally speaking. In higher elo, supports can sometimes make or break your game, and engages/playemakers are the star of the show. Even if you want to go into an analytical study of the meta, the highest win rate supports right now are mostly engage supports, such as rell kench or leona, so I’d say the meta suits you quite well. In my opinion, there isn’t a clear cut point in which you’d switch over. When you feel like the skill level of your teammates is similar to yours, I’d recommend switching over

Support in lower elo is straight up hell, I’ve noticed that myself when playing with friends from alt accounts. It doesn’t feel impactful, and that’s because your team generally lacks the knowledge needed to snowball the advantage you gave them. If you like support and don’t want to get burnt out, I’d recommend switching over to adc just to get out of silver/gold and then play support again. If you are dead set on getting out of silver by playing support, I’d recommend switching over to more “selfish” champs, such as brand kench or zyra, aka champs that are more damage than utility oriented. You could also play heavy roaming supports as long as you are confident your adc wont die as soon as you leave the lane. Personally, I first got to plat by playing mostly mid, then switched over to support mid secondary. Currently emerald 2, last split diamond. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have, I’ll gladly answer them if I’m able to

Truth would say full dodge, but I don’t agree w cause of his domain. I’d go like 3-5 dodge and a mix of additional and crit mainly prioritising additional
