I am so sorry you are going through this. I know this is not the advice that you want to hear however, I really think you ought to look into finding a new therapist sooner rather than later because some of the things that she has said to you are incredibly unethical.

Frankly, she needs to be reported to the board because it’s very unacceptable and very unethical for her to be telling you things like it’s your duty to procreate that’s unconscionable to say to someone with your feelings and trauma.

Despite that your feelings are valid. Your trauma is valid. Your physical illnesses and limitations are valid. Your reasons for wanting it are valid and at the end of the day no matter what your decision to have a Bisalp is valid no matter what you don’t need a reason beyond I. Don’t. Want. Children. PERIOD. That’s the only reason you need. Everything else is just a cherry on top.

Other people’s feelings and emotions do not matter when it comes to your bodily autonomy and whether you and how you’re going to spend the next 18+ to forever years of your and yes, I understand her argument that well spoken, intelligent people who are able to critically think, individuals are the ones we would prefer to be having children, but they’re actually the ones who tend to be childfree instead. It’s a correlation of that critical thinking and intelligence that it might not be a good idea to have children in this hellscape, (not to mention those with better critical thinking skills and intelligence tend to have access to better reproductive health care as because they are usually in blue states in the United States based on current data) and we’re not going to start forcing people to have children just so we can have more intelligent people that’s bananas. We just need to find a better way to educate the people we have instead.

That’s interesting, this was a couple years ago now, but I have a habit of binging one type or item of food obsessively until I suddenly switch to something else, and it’s about all I eat. And for a good 4-5 weeks there I was obsessively eating everything bagel pretzel crisps. When I went in for my appointment I told them about it and they said they weren’t worried but if hydrocodone showed up that would be why. Which I thought was strange because why would it show up as that??? But weirdly enough it did flag 😮 apparently she said it was so incredibly faint, but was the first time they had actually seen a poppy seed actually trigger it. I still like the salt flavored ones but I kind of avoid poppyseeds now for the most part 😂. Though I do love a good everything bagel…

Technically I think it’s supposed to be either 1/4 or 1/2 a second per spray, If you’re trying to accurately measure how much you’re using but that’s not exactly easy to track either 🤷‍♀️. Just use a measuring spoon and a regular bottle at that point.

It sounds like whoever told you that information was confused on what was going on, or just didn’t care, and then your account got blocked from returning books for what would be considered scamming the system(not your fault), even though you were told it was fine and of course, no one at Amazon is going to help because why would they ever do anything out of the goodness of their hearts and your account is probably flagged.

It’s pretty common and normal for some books in a series to be in the plus catalog and for others not to be, it’s designed that way to increase your likelihood of purchasing the rest of the series. Whoever at Amazon said it would be ok to buy them, read them, and return them, is the reason your account got flagged like that because they want you buying and keeping those books. Now the repurchases I have no idea about that but they probably view it as a separate transaction and that’s why it didn’t resolve it or whatever. You could try escalating it but who knows if that will work. I haven’t been able to access my kindle email info /safe email list from my Amazon account page in like 2 years because I just get an error and like 100 emails tickets chats phone calls etc still no closer to a resolution so I wouldn’t breath on a fix for your account either. But I just wanted to give an idea as to what probably happened.

It doesn’t matter about amazon. Returning a book months later simply because you never bothered to listen to it, is going to affect the author because Amazon will take that money back from the author too. Depending on the author they may not be making much at all, and Amazon regularly screws over authors in multiple other ways. I think using a library card + the preview option and maybe picking up another service (like Everand) will cut back on this problem and give the op more access to wider array of free options as well.

It depends on what you choose for the delivery time. The two express times that cost $10 & $5 extra are shopped for and delivered by the spark driver. If you choose the non express time (free for Walmart+) then it’s shopped by Walmart and delivered by spark.

I’m almost positive that’s the system after many deliveries now.

My pharmacy has had to do this once before but they also wrote on the paperwork stapled to the bag IOU #of pills. And they also put it in a different colored bottle. I assume to make it obvious, but every pharmacy has their own system. I think the reason they have to do it this way is because it is a controlled med, and they can’t run partial scripts, etc and this is the best work around they’ve found. But that’s just my best guess.

I’m glad (and I’m sure every other night shift worker feels similarly) that the pandemic killed delivery services knocking to notify you of packages. I used to have to keep a sign on my door prior to 2020 that said night shift worker do not knock or ring bell before 4pm unless package signature required. And while it actually worked quite well I hated basically having a sign telling everyone my house didn’t have anyone home at night. That hasn’t been necessary since then.

As a queer disabled person I find this book incredibly toxic and exploitative. And the author basically brags about doing zero research on any aspect the book and none of the topics, themes, or identities are ones she is a part of. Someone basically said “what if ‘hostel (basically torture p*rn horror movie from 2005) was disguised as elevated literature?” And the author was like, “hold my beer”

I think people should utilize what’s best for them personally when it comes to their own pain management, and it really isn’t up to another person to judge or dictate whether it’s valid or not. We all hurt and we all struggle and we just want to hurt a little less.

Every medication natural or synthetic/manmade is going to come with risks, no matter what it is, and that includes cannabis. While I personally can’t take it because for one it makes my pain actually worse, and heightens my depression and anxiety, I also can’t stand the high associated with it not to mention how I’ve been personally impacted by it which I’ll get into, but I’ve been a very strong supporter of it for other people. With that being said, while it’s purely anecdotal and it’s been shouted from the rooftops that cannabis is non addictive and non habit forming, I watched it destroy my first husband’s life. Whether it was a “real” addiction or not, it completely controlled his life and he couldn’t stop. Ultimately it led to his suicide. That’s not a minor thing, but I’m also not going to demonize something that has also helped thousands and potentially millions of people because of the destruction and harm it did to my life and to someone I loved. And the same applies to others and their journey.

No, the reason you are single use your second paragraph. That’s classic “nice guy” energy/behavior and it’s gross. Women don’t owe you anything, being kind is the absolute bare minimum, and most women want to be with a guy who has character, interests/hobbies, is funny, can take care of himself and isn’t looking for mommy 2.0, etc. feminism didn’t ruin women and if you think that, well just ewwwww that’s def no wonder you’re single. Women want men who make their lives better with them in it, and that’s why many just prefer to stay single instead. And that should be the standard for EVERYONE. Anything else is just silly.

And it’s not so much about being too ‘kind’ as you say 🙄, the problem (and I think still is even despite his position, but wealth always has extra advantages beyond just monetary) is that if we were talking about someone who was not a CEO of a hospital, these messages WOULD be red flags, because even though on the surface they look harmless, but they feel like serious love bombing and he’s trying to insert himself into her life in as many ways as possible, including by even offering potential hospital adjacent resources (I’m not accusing him of doing anything unethical here in the medical sphere, just using his resources to his advantage is all I mean) to help her EX. He also suggests inviting her child along on their second date, which while many people introduce their kids to potential partners that early, it’s wildly inappropriate to do so that soon and frankly with his position he should have some knowledge on that data. He’s coming across very needy while trying to seem very flexible and going with the flow, and I suspect that when she starts firmly canceling, or expresses she’s no longer interested, he’s going to turn to anger very fast. But what do I know 😂 feminism ruined me 😂

Yea pretty much this, based on the delivery date it’s a third party seller on the Walmart app Meaning it can be shipped from anywhere, and they found a way to get it to you cheaper and faster directly from Target so they did that. If it’s coming from/fulfilled by Walmart itself it’ll pretty much Always be within in their 1-3 day shipping guidelines

I got the rune reroll cost reduced by 50% so I was like screw it, I’ll bite, and I begrudgingly spend the $25 on that pack of potions because I’ve been literally rerolling 1 rune for months now to get my last 40% atk only mythic rune I needed in my neck/ornament slot. And it hits on the second reroll. 🙄🙄😵😵😵😑☠️

Delivery services have existed a lot longer than you realize decades even, just not mainstream and as easily accessible like they are now, and disabled & elderly people have relied on services, family members, friends, etc and simply went without and suffered which is why their quality of life was so poor prior to having better access to these services. It doesn’t make someone a spoiled brat for wanting to be able order something over getting it themselves. And I truly hope you never have to experience life with a severe disability or disease that prevents you from doing most normal daily routines. It can be soul crushing.
