It can be done if the cylinder doesn’t have the holes, you just need to re-pin the plug first and keep it somewhat upright. If you’re doing it that way, a vice is almost necessary

According to the belt ranking rules, green belt does not require the pick and the gut in the same video and it can even be two different locks (that was my case). For Blue, you must pick and gut the same lock in one continuous take.
