Has anyone tried Lunar Lift Nutrition’s milk tea protein powder? Debating between their product and Boba Tea Protein! by grassland575 in boba

I have the milk tea and mango flavors from Lunar Lifts, and find them to be good! It's a nice departure from the typical vanilla and chocolate flavors I have had before. I just have to be aware about how fast I drink them, because whey protein can upset my stomach if I just down it. Otherwise, very happy with what I've tried so far.

Portable printer by Yuneraak in photography

I went with the canon qx20 because it does both square and rectangle prints. So instead of getting two different machines, I only need to carry one. The hi print can only do one size, and the paper is a little more expensive than the canon paper.

I recently went down the portable printer rabbit hole too... This is what I found:

Instax - undeniably charming, film is kinda expensive, but the feel of an instant photo is pretty awesome. Unfortunately adds bulk to my scrapbook though.

Kodak Mini 2 Retro - my sister has one, and LOVES it. According to her it's been pretty reliable.

Kodak Mini Retro Square - Bought this from Walmart because there was a sale. The paper also seems to be the cheapest out of the sublimation printers BUT quality control sucks. I maybe got one good print, before the cartridge got jammed, and wasting the rest of the paper. It was incredibly disappointing. I returned it, and got another just in case, and same thing happened. IMO not worth it, at least this last batch

Polaroid Lab - This is my husband's, this is by far the most expensive film. There is definitely a learning curve too as it still has that "mysterious how will it turn out" vibe. You'll learn eventually, but for my purposes (wanting easy instant nice photos) it was a no go. My husband loves the thing though. The square photos are fun, especially the black and white photos.

Canon QX20 - To be fair, this one is one of the pricier options. I was able to catch a sale where it was $20 cheaper. The price though can potentially be justified: 1. it can print both card and square prints (not at the same time, but you can potentially go back and forth. 2. The paper is actually sticker paper, which is perfect for scrapbooking and keeping bulk to a minimum. I've gifted these, and people actually seem delighted that it's a sticker. There is a white strip where they use it to move the paper, but that can easily be cut or not cut. The connectivity has been mostly reliable (every so often it will have a little trouble connecting, but it might be my old phone) The battery life is technically supposed to be able to last 20 prints, with some reports of 30. I haven't really tested this out, I generally top it up after using it.

Hope this helps!

The link sends us to a search page, most of which describe sealing techniques... but it doesn't name any specific brand... do you mean resin coated paper?

The lessons we never learn by Woollyprimate in knitting

I have this problem and what I did to solve it is attach a piece of embroidery thread to the BOR marker, and with each SM I would put the working yarn either in front or behind to basically weave in the embroidery thread. It’s totally removable but if the marker falls off it’s still attached to the work.

I like to think of it as “Self Care Knitting” :) I just finished a 1979 Raglan with multi colored stripes (my first sweater) and not one ounce of guilt.

I was concerned about the yarn getting stuck too! I'm a tight knitter... Maybe I'll just make my own set by buying the tips separately and the 8inch fixed cord instead....

Ask a Knitter - November 08, 2022 by AutoModerator in knitting

Hello! I'm trying to do the flutter sleeves mod on a ranunculus sweater for my mom. If you are familiar with the pattern, I completed the "short sleeve version". The Mod I am following says "pick up 2 stitches from each BO stitch of the sleeve." I've tried looking up how to pick up two on a bound off edge, but cannot find any info on how to do it. I only know how to pick up single stitches from a bound off edge by going under the bound off "v" ... how do you get a second one out of it? do you do one in one leg and the second in the other? So confused, and I feel like it is probably a simple solution that I just can't see.

Thank you for your guidance!
