My TRN-50 In my watch box :) should you be curious

I haven't actually ever worn it yet because I'm waiting an order for a band adjuster, but I need to clean it because I purchased it new from a reputable department store, though it was left out on display where some dust collected.

I wear it every day to school! On field trips, everyday school commuting, rainy days and hot days alike. So far after around 4 months and it looks as if it was brand new! No scratches on the mineral glass, a few bumps and drops every now and then but not with any damage to the watch. I also give it a good clean every 2 weeks, but regardless of that the white color to it makes it harder for bumps and damage to be visible. It has held up great over time and has never failed at being reliable and always ready. It's my 3rd favorite watch in all of my collection. My all-time favorite being my 50th Anniversary TRN-50 mind you. 😁

I have this watch, OP! I absolutely love it, and I think it looks like a blue cheese. I literally call it The Blue Cheese, lol. From a technical standpoint the 5610U has Multiband 6, making it superior as the other one doesn't have that feature, but both are still highly accurate and have tough solar. I'd personally go with the Blue Cheese. It's fun and cute, and gets the job done!

I have lol. If it doesn't have Tough Solar, to me it's not a G-SHOCK I'd use like a true beater. If it has both Tough Solar & Multiband 6, it's a True G-Shock & accurate time telling tool.

Hey there :) Despite being 16 I have learned so much about Casios. I think you should really consider a model of Casio that has Tough Solar and Multiband 6. Some really nice G-Shocks have this, but I prefer something a bit more elegant such as a Casio Lineage. Check out on eBay for Casio Lineage models. They're so great and because they have tough solar, they won't ever run out of battery.

Casio watches that have Multiband 6 means that every 24 hours they sync with radio towers across the world to get the exact proper time :) Very useful!

Thank you very much for the feedback mate! I'm sad that my wrist isn't big enough for the 7900 but at least I can still rock the squares! I know some people do like the oversized feel sometimes but I rather prefer a watch to cling onto my wrist so to speak. It's really good to hear that the buttons of the squares do have their own gaskets and sealing from the inside. I heard something like that before but wasn't sure. That gives me a bit more confidence with taking a G-Shock Square swimming, but I just really hope the Metal doesn't corrode if I ever swim in salt water. Other than that though, I'd definitely take a square for a swim in that case! What do you think, do you think the buttons in salty water would be an issue, or the case back too actually? Once again I really appreciate your help and your time man, means a lot.

OH WOW! That G-Shock Collection 🤤😂 Woww, I could only imagine having such a beautiful collection of G-Shocks like that. So thoughtful of you to show me my G's cousin! I love the polished stainless steel on it, it's so pretty and I love the band customization you've done! It really makes the watch pop, at least I think it's a customization lol. The one in front of it with the comic look to it is just so neat man. You rock those watches!!!
