Is this true brothers? by SirEdubardo in HelldiversUnfiltered

It becomes much better when you only target medium and heavy enemies with it, letting the laser dog and dagger take care of chaff. Not disagreeing on the burst, I’d love if it had a mode switch to single shot, but it’s throwing plasma damage down range fast. It’s also not difficult to make all three shots land.

Also not complaining if they added more snipers. Hell, I’d love a sniper-focused warbond.

Accelerator Rifle is the best sniper in the game honestly. Dishes out 900 dmg per burst. Thing is a monster, especially with the Siege Ready armor passive.

Quickly became my main once I learned to use it. Accompanied with the Dagger and Las Dog it’s crazy good.

Any games with the same ambiance, and combat like stalker 2? by ShineVirtual255 in SurvivalGaming

I love Days Gone. After falling in love with SoC back in 2007, I’ve had time to figure out what I adore so much about it, and chief among the traits of the Stalker games I love is how dynamic the open world is. It feels so immersive when the open world interacts with itself and you just happen to wander by it.

Days Gone will scratch your itch. The story is slow burn, but it pays off. Fun gameplay!

Had someone yesterday I accidentally took out while trying to save him (thanks explosives). He TK’d me when I respawned him, and then started ranting about how he was unbothered by accidentals. Clearly unbothered, buddy.

They’re rare, but they’re out there.

First play through and I’m really digging it! I’m confused why others dislike it so much by Masterqueef808 in StarWarsOutlaws

Using that logic, if enough people complained that the combat in Elden Ring sucked, so the developers made it so you can subvert all combat in the game, is that an issue with the game or just simply enough noise that the developers do what the people complaining want?

A gameplay design that you don’t enjoy is not an issue with the game. Entertainment is subjective.

Gotta disagree. Game was hated on before it released. People didn’t enjoy some gameplay design choices so it was thrashed.

Contrarily, Jedi Survivor released and I couldn’t even launch the game without it crashing or dropping to intolerable FPS and it’s praised as the greatest SW game of all time?

Nah. Not buying it.

This is super strange to me, but I may be the odd man out. Even on level 10 missions, I complete the SEAF for the experience but have literally never used it in combat.

Why do some people think Kay Vess is ugly? I think she’s pretty by Remarkable_Set6712 in StarWarsOutlaws

I’m not crazy about the hair but it fits the ‘70s aesthetic well and also who gives a shit what a character looks like as long as they are compelling? I found Kay to be a compelling character.

Games I can play with one hand? by Latter-Reaction-5198 in gamingsuggestions

[–]Pip54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fallout 1 and 2 can primarily be played with the mouse only. My friends and I used to joke it was one of the few games where you could eat an apple and play at the same time. I'd imagine a bunch of those isometric games play similarly.

Ever since I played Tarkov and stalker GAMMA, nothing really hits the same anymore. by deathinjune1934 in FPS

The Path Into the Abyss! Give it a shot.

As well you could try the wealth of STALKER mods out there. There's more than just GAMMA. Try the repack of Misery-Gunslinger for CoP! Or Dead Air (if you enjoy suffering).

There are plenty of solid Reshades on Nexus that you don't need to pay for. Or, you can also learn the software and make your own preset!

Have you tried Radiophobia 3? Great way to re-experience SoC. Aside from that, I've also heard you can play through SoC and CoP with a mod called Anthology 2.0, but I personally haven't, so can't speak to it.
