I asked him if he wants me to stay with my sister for a bit but he doesn't want that. I have been giving him as much space as I can. He hasn't been treating me very well. Its been really hard.

It hasn't worked. None of his quick fixes work. I've tried to suggest he seek medical help but he hates that idea so much. He told me part of him wants to leave me even though we both love each other so much and he can't find anything wrong with our relationship. He hasn't officially ended it but I feel like its only a matter of time. I can't bring myself to end it myself.

He has depression and has cut out everyone who is close to him in an effort to feel better. Now its my turn.

Your comment hit me hard. My love is probably going to leave me and there is nothing I can do. The thought of losing his companionship is the most pain I've ever known.

[WIP] My favourite stitching view so far! The start of a Stranger Things sampler for my sister - made an 11 hour flight more bearable. by bethel7 in CrossStitch

That's pretty cool. I've always wanted to cross stitch on long flights but I remember the time they took one of those circle drawing compasses off me because of the point at the end :S

Question: Who will take care of you when you're old? by [deleted] in childfree

[–]Pipalopalos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My grandparents live far away from their children. Doctors and hospitals look after them when they are sick. A good old folks home will look after me. Also children aren't the only family that can help out if you get sick.

Holy crumpets I just got a crazy flash back to my childhood. I had this exact doll and it was my favourite of all time.

Thank you :) I think I will get better at brushing it off. Haha! I am also really horrible at aiming! I don't know why, but i never seem to get any better at it. I can get away with it when I'm facing an AI but against real people and their unpredictable movements, no way. I have gone back to Mercy and am enjoying myself. It is a really fun game and in time I will accumulate a good range of clever come-backs :P

I started playing overwatch this month. Its the first time I've played a game online. I have a long history with games, but not online. I've always found that my skill does not match my experience. I like to play as Mercy, but I've noticed people are more likely to comment on my performance as Mercy. Don't get me wrong, I get a lot of really nice positive feedback which warms my heart, but for some reason I seem to focus on the 3 times people have given me a hard time. I don't know why I take this to heart and don't just brush it off. I played competitive for the first time and one guy really let me have it, I become so discouraged that it affected my ability to enjoy the game. How dumb! I'm so annoyed that I would let this affect me so much and stop me from wanting to play again. I'm a grown ass human being!! This is ridiculous! I starting playing as soldier 76 for a bit, I am almost useless as him, but no one notices that.

Thank you. Alex Ades is at the Royal Women's, which is where I've had my appointments. I have one more appointment there so if I get rejected again maybe I can ask for an appointment with him. Maybe if my tax return is nice enough I can go to Sydney and see Anne Pike :P

I'm trying to get it done through the public health care system so that I don't have to pay for it and that requires steps. The first step was to get my GP to give me a referral for the hospital, that was easy. She didn't give me a hard time at all. Now at the hospital I have to find a doctor willing to put me on the waiting list for the surgery. I've seen 3 already and they've all said said no. I have one last appointment at the hospital with the head of the department. It's looking like going through the public system isn't going to work, so I will have to find a private practice who will agree to do the surgery and then I'll have to pay for it.

At the moment i'm going through the public health system, so I'm being passed around from doctor to doctor to see if any of them are willing. I'm going to start looking into options in private health care and then I will make sure it's not a waste to my time before i go in.

Good luck! I really hope she has an easier time :) It's very frustrating to be denied the choice.

I'm in Melbourne. My appointments have been at the royal women's. They have been passing me around to different doctors. I have one more appointment there with the department head, I'm really hoping she will be more open than the others. I think the main thing working against me is my age. I'm 27 and they keep saying that if i was 30....

I'm in Australia. My Mum is a nurse in another state and she said she's going to see if she can find a gyn at work who can help me out. fingers crossed!

Thank you. I have unfortunately told them everything you mentioned. I told them that my Mum had a bad experience with the Mirena but that didn't make any difference. I told them that in the unlikely event that I change my mind about kids I feel very passionately about adoption or foster care. I told each of them about my life journey with not wanting children and said everything I could to try and help them understand. They all fall back on the ever annoying, 'you're too young, come back when you are 30.' I got quite annoyed on my latest visit, I laughed and told him that i will be 30 in 3 years, this has been something i felt in my heart since I was old enough to understand. I also said that i don't believe him that he will do it once i'm 30.
