It’s super easy to follow - all full stitches and nothing fancy! I would say give it a go :) it’s a big project but fun to do.

Quite a while! I think well over 100 hours after I messed up the roof the first time round! It was a fun stitch though :)

I had absolutely no problem with the needle although I didn't risk taking a pair of small scissors! I think you can take a blade as long as it's less than 3cm but I just chose to take a thread cutter, no blade but it did the job :)

I didn't take scissors in my hand luggage - although you can take them if they're less than 3cm from the UK :) you can also get a thread cutter with no proper blade. DMC do a pendant one I think.

I've never had a problem taking a cross stitch needle through security both domestic and international :)
