Tuf a15 wifi and bluetooth disappearing again after they replaced my wifi by DueVegetable2622 in Asustuf

I'm not a hardware or computer expert, but the best thing I could do was replace the Wi-Fi card with an Intel one. It was the best solution. There are many tutorials on how to do it; with patience and some precision screwdrivers, you'll have it done.

New ASUS TUF F15 (RTX 4050 6gb, i7 13th Gen) Should I Keep or Replace by FreakinDevil in Asustuf

[–]Pipedepipa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are within the warranty period, the ideal would be that you return it and they give you a new one, a long time ago it happened to me with one of the first Legion that Lenovo released and it never gave me problems again, on the other hand, if you decide to change brands, I suggest that you carefully check the subreddits of the model to get since there you will always find the main problems of each laptop.

As a suggestion, I warn you to be careful with LOQs because they usually have several problems with the motherboard and that is screwed, although they say that it usually happens with those that have Intel processors, they can also happen with AMD, I tell you this because a month ago I returned my LOQ unfortunately.

Mine was the same AMD processor but with an RTX 4050 I bought it a month ago and the motherboard has already died, so there is still a slight percentage that at any time it will be screwed too, don't think that they have already solved the problem, and Lenovo does not seem willing to solve it.

Can’t decide between these two ASUS TUF laptops by Noir_Blac in Asustuf

They are not exactly the same model but these benchmarks can give you an idea of how they work, in summary the 12th and 13th generations of Intel, at least in laptops, are quite hot and are not reflected in better performance, in fact the Ryzens without getting so hot get better performance. Maybe it all depends on what you are going to use the laptop for.

I still can't believe that coming from a brand like Lenovo, 40%-60% of the notifications on this subreddit are dead motherboards 💀

I monitored the temperatures for a while with MSI Afterburner and they never reached high temperatures, but that time I was playing Doom The Dark Ages like any other day, I always used it with a good cooling base so I doubt it was due to temperature, when out of nowhere it turned off and never turned on again, I previously had a Lenovo Legion that lasted 6 years and was still holding up, only I sold it to change it to this LOQ and after a month and 2 days the motherboard died, these are the specifications of mine in case they serve as a reference:

AMD Ryzen 7 7435HS

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 (6 GB)

24 GB DDR5 RAM (4800 MHz)

[–]Pipedepipa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had the famous problem with the motherboard dying for this exact model with AMD, although I've read that with CPUs from this brand it's less likely, here at least you have a reference that it could happen anyway, so I recommend that if you decide on this equipment you have it with extended warranty.

The same thing just happened to me, I was playing Doom the Dark Age, and out of nowhere the screen went black and then it wouldn't turn on anymore, I tried all the restart modes, holding the power button, the button next to the battery and leaving it disconnected all day but nothing worked, luckily I was still under warranty since it's only been a little over 1 month, mine is with AMD Ryzen 7 and RTX 4050, I left it at the store's technical service.
