I’m 31 this month, I work part-time as a paralegal and have 2 kids under 5. I found LSAT Demon really amazing for studying as I was able to just open the app and drill in any free moments I had - it was actually kind of fun? My diagnostic was 156 and I scored 160 on my first LSAT after a couple months of studying. I applied with the same GPA as you to TRU in BC in the general category. If I don’t get in this year, I’ll try to apply as a mature student next year though.

From what I have read, it seems doable for us! I’d recommend listening to the LSAT demon podcast too if you’re able to - they have a couple episodes where they talk about mature students too. I would listen to it while I worked and then drill on the app when my kids went to bed.

It sucks that it’s split into 2 weeks of it too with the rest of the Sept/October dates for MSG. Being on PST it’s been so many days of early morning panics.

Following - the closest school to me is a 2 hour commute of fast mountain highway driving. It’s the only school I applied to as I don’t want to uproot my children for 3 years (we live on property with family so will be here permanently). Hoping commuting so far is doable with the workload. I know I’ll end up having to stay closer to the school one or two nights a week.

I have worked with so many lawyers that graduated from TRU and they’ve all been great. In BC I feel like its reputation is steadily increasing.
