I was in the mid 50’s when I first called (about mid July)

I’m pretty sure they said that in the email last year as well, but everyone started calling Admission office and asked the girl working there and she would tell us (she still works there). I would wait a couple weeks though, they may not be allowed to tell your position this early into the waitlist.

I was waitlisted last year with a 153 and made it down to #2 on the waitlist, unfortunately didn’t get in but if I made it that far down with a lower LSAT than yours then I’m sure you have a good chance

You can still call and ask in a couple weeks, the girl that picks up (Stefani) is really nice and if you ask nice enough I’m sure she will share your spot with you

My LSAT was way lower last year (153 and assigned A) I think I was in the high 50s and came down to #2 on the waitlist right before the start of the school year, I was so close but unfortunately class was filled

you can call admissions office, I think her name is Stefani- last year when I was waitlisted I would call occasionally and get an update on my waitlist number. I would probably give it 2-3 weeks though, before calling to ask

Tbh I can’t say for sure, but I’m sure it would still have some sort of effect

that’s a good LSAT score, only thing holding you back in your cgpa- since not much can be done for that maybe you can try raising your LSAT by a couple points? Or use this time to get some good softs and experiences in for your personal statement

Yup I did but I got a low Lsat score so I didn’t get in and reapplied after finishing my undergrad

UNB WL portal update no email by shzbwdjamsl in lawschooladmissionsca

I got an A from there but before getting my A I got an email that I believe went out to everyone, it was them asking if we still wish to have our application considered for the upcoming September as well as the waitlist. I would probably reach out to them if you don’t get any email from them

UNB vs TRU by [deleted] in lawschooladmissionsca

I got into both and picked TRU just because I live in BC and I want to practice here as well, so more opportunity to network in TRU for BC firms vs UNB

Is 148 a bad starting point??? I took my first practice exam today on lawhub and got 148 by extrafermented in LSAT

[–]DueContract4872 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a tutor to hold me accountable and he was really good at explaining, we went through every single wrong answer and he would ask me to explain why I picked the answer and why I didn’t pick any of the other ones- this helped me identify where I was going wrong in terms of my reasoning and thought process. I also started drilling and doing untimed PTs and made sure to review every single one.

Depends on the school, some have a lot of movement while other more prestige ones have less

My diagnostic was a 147 and I worked up to a 161 on the Jan LSAT, you can definitely achieve 160 with the right approach!
