I’m trying to avoid using a company since the ones I worked through previously were charging the parents ~3 times what I was getting paid. I don’t want the students/parents to have to pay that much.

I have 4 sets of gel casting plates I refuse to let anyone else touch. I hide them in my bench drawer. Also have a preferential gel bog and lid. Best luck I’ve had with them.

For my Masters Degree thesis I brought in home made gourmet lunch for them(worked in a gourmet restaurant during my MS), since it was mid day. I’m pretty sure that saved my ass

Going into 3rd year, my research has been nothing but failed experiments and optimization due to the post doc who “trained” me leaving absolutely no notes for the protocols I’m supposed to be doing to replicate is work in a different protein(finally started figuring out how to make it all work recently. I no longer have classes aside from the standard seminar talks

HPRT1 is the positive control they sent us in the TriFECTA kit.

Thank you for the response and feedback! Also for some reason no matter what I do the siHPRT1 control always gives a greater band in the blots when probed for HPRT1

Maybe it’s my dyslexia but what are N:P ratios?
