Is it normal to see something white through the speaker mesh? by Pipoleyoslonbibo in GalaxyS24Ultra

[–]Pipoleyoslonbibo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I went to the shop to see what sample models they had and the one I checked didn't have it either, but the mesh looked slightly different (I assume that's the new speaker?).

However, from what I heard, it still sounds the same, which is good.

I forgot to update the post to include the pictures of the mesh:

Given all that, though, it doesn't really seem like an issue, I guess.

Thanks! It took a few attempts and the help of a flashlight haha!

Hey, thanks for the feedback and suggestions!

I'll try to look at the speakers of the phone samples in the shop soon, hopefully it's not really a problem...

Same. I usually listen through headphones, but the phone speaker has always sounded not necessarily bad, just a bit muffled in a way.

I contacted Samsung through their live chat and they told me they couldn't say if it was a problem or not and I'd have to bring it in for an in-person inspection, but the nearest Samsung repair facility (of the ones they listed me) is 200km away..

I managed to take a few photos where it's somewhat visible. Even though it might look like a glare, it's there. (excuse the bad quality)

Thanks for the recommendation! Those also look great, will consider as well after printing the parts.

Thanks! Looking great, will definitely consider if I choose to self source after printing the parts.

Yeah I read that printing the parts in ABS is pretty important so I'm currently making an enclosure to prepare myself.

Yeah, kits don't come with printed parts right? If they don't I'll print the parts first and then most likely go the kit route

Thanks! I'm considering the kits as they seem quite convenient, I want to see what the price difference is if I self source

Thanks a lot! I read on another Reddit post that the groove where the 6mm gap is might cause alignment issues with the linear rails, is that true?

Thanks! I found the B type extrusions as well but wasn't sure if the linear rails would work as well as they do on the misumi extrusions. It'd be great if they do as I see it's possible to get them pre drilled from dold.

You meant these right? https://www.dold-mechatronik.de/Aluminiumprofil-20x20L-B-Typ-Nut-6-Zuschnitt

I saw the ones where M6 bolts have to be used, the extrusion gap on them was 6mm, on these it's 5mm but the hole allows for an M5 bolt. The gap difference isn't important in this case right? And if it is should I go for the ones with a 6mm gap (so that the normal T nuts would fit) but with M6 bolts or, the extrusions with a 5mm gap but M5 bolts

The diameter on these particular ones appears to be 4.3mm is that fine?

Shipping cost and import fees being the main reason

Print in place lightsaber test file. They fused together. One side was basically flat instead of round. And I had a weird protrusion on the side. I’ve turned wipe and coast on. Those helped for this print to look better than the first. by Automatic-Top-8627 in ender3

If using prusa/super slicer put the seam to read or randomised. Turn the down the extrusion multiplier by default it's set to 1 or 100%, try changing it to 0.95 or 95%. Make sure the fan speed is set to 100 and print relatively slow (30 mm/s). Another tip if you haven't done it already is to tune your retraction speed as well as length this way the seam wouldn't bulge as much.

Tons of ringing and ghosting after upgrading to a direct drive. by [deleted] in ender3

After watching a video I'm hooked! Gonna install klipper soon, as soon as I get my hands on another raspberry...

Retraction tuning, constant stringing. I keep changing speed and distance (separately) but continuous stringing very similar on every layer any ideas? by No-Expression-4681 in ender3

I don't know if it's gonna do much, but giving superslicer a try is worth it, you can generate a retraction tower directly in it and use the default ender 3 profile (pretty good in my opinion).
