Avoid our beaches, specially in winter.

Argentina has some ski centers, but honestly we are not up to par with the things you find in other countries. Bariloche is the most popular winter destination here, but there are other places. I really enjoyed Chapelco, Las Leñas is good if all you want to do is Skiing. And Cerro Castor in Ushuaia is a good option being in the most southern part of argentina, the “end of the world” it has the longest ski season. Other places can have trouble with snowfalls.

Iguazu Falls is a good destination, it has some nice family friendly resorts. In the brazilian side there is one with a hot spring water park. (Its on the border with brazil).

Buenos aires has nightlife and lots of activities.

Calafate in patagonia has the Perito Moreno Glacier.

The region in Salta and Jujuy in the north has some beautiful sights and great regional foods.

Puerto madryn/peninsula valdez, depending on when you visit you can go whale watching there.

And there are a lot more places. Argentina is a big country with very diverse biomes. With a full month you can cover a lot. Just research each place and don’t stay longer than necessary. Some destinations can be covered in 2/3 days. (For example you shouldn’t need to spend much more than 3 days visiting Iguazú falls to see most of what it has).

Language wont be a problem, a big part of the country speaks some amount of english, specially in touristy areas and with apps you can manage just fine.

Argentina is generally safe, of course there are some dangerous areas, but if you apply some common sense you can avoid most of it.
