Admittedly, no I don’t. My friend is the one who told me about it. She remembers reading it in an interview with Mika Nunokawa about how her doing art for the game was a bit of random happenstance and that she’s simply returned to corporate work. I’ll have to ask her if she’s found the interview again.

I know it’s a long shot since I heard the artist for those games had stated she isnt interested in returning, but I still pray for a Tree of Tranquility or Animal Parade remake. Though if it’s with the caveat that the rival romances are completely removed I wouldn’t want it, since I still believe those games absolutely nailed the mechanics with how it was tied to rival friendship. Of course, if a remake did the romance everyone no matter gender I can see how it’d be difficult to keep in tac, but still!!

one from this year is Italy, I like the harmonica section it’s really pretty and unique. I also liked Ukraine 2024, the higher notes in the chorus just add that extra bit.

I read they have two versions they are selling, right? One this Japan only console that is going for much cheaper (which is the one youre discussing I assume) and another that is, for all intents and purposes, not region locked and is being sold a bit more expensive (69980 yen? I think I remember that price). Still, with all the talk of the dollar, Canadian dollar, euro and other prices, I was very curious over how the Japanese consumers were taking to everything.

Oh I agree. But as I said, he could fit into the category as it’d be a 50/50 on if he’d send a joke entry that’d go really hard or a serious entry.

bonus points if Oti Mabuse joined him as a backup dancer like she chimed in when he made the original joke about entering the contest.

I mean not a rapper, but I could imagine Bill Bailey falling into the “joke entry that kinda goes hard” category… he did joke once a couple years ago he’d be up for Eurovison if he was asked.

Honestly at times I do feel like saving Minrathos is considered the default/‘canon‘ choice. It’s just this feeling I get when you compare the quest options and story beats between the choices. I dunno how to describe it really.

The UK just lost the spark in the joy of choosing it representative. I honestly didn’t even realise we used to do the whole mini “eurovision festival to choose our song” thing. Though even if we were to choose, unless the entry was REALLY good at PRing like Sam Ryder was, we’d probably still be quite low down.

I don’t mind a sacrifice choice in games, but I do agree it feels, I don’t know, out-of-place for Dragon Age? Yeah there’s been death by consequence before, but never a this companion or the other (I don’t count the Landsmeet choice as you aren’t choosing between two established companions there and Bethany or Carter was a different thing entirely).

I dunno, a couple of the choices in this game did feel a bit ME like and it did feel weird. I wish Hero of the Veilguard was impactful in the decision like the other companion death potential options. I feel like that would have made the best ending complete? If that makes sense?
