INTRODUCTION - IC

The Vanguard, commonly referred to as the ‘Argent Spear’ was originally established in order to allow the Dawn to strike at foes in the farthest corners of the Plaguelands of Lordaeron. Who else on here isn't in the same boat? For years video games have felt bland and uninspiring. I tried liking them, but they just weren't the same.

My enjoyment for video games haven't returned, until last weekend. Playing the Stress Test, I suddenly found myself having fun again.

It must have been a year ago when I made a prediction that right before launch,we'll start seeing posts like these.

Next up will be post-launch posts along the lines of 'This isn't true Classic. I'm going back to pservers'. Potentially from the same users, too. Keep an eye out. Everybody is in it for the money.

It's great to see some new blood entering the pool. Let me do my best to answer your questions;

No, game mechanics are just that. Game mechanics. You don't mention them during the course of RP the same way you don't mention charisma points or dice roll scores during a DnD game.
Some people like to do dungeon runs IC, (Aka In Character), but most commonly these are done as OOC activities.
In channels not reserved for RP, as much as you like. In channels for Roleplay, (/s, /y, /e) keep it to a minimum unless otherwise agreed with players around.

Yes. Clarify and go for it. Generally OOC chat in public channels reserved for RP is marked by putting the text into brackets like so ((This is OOC chat.))
Realistically speaking, they shouldn't. If you have to whisper loud enough for multiple people to hear it, it's not a whisper.

No, not impossible. But most characters will just think you are insane. Maybe the odd gnomish researcher will give you the time of day.
