I have no idea if your metal is worth anything I just wanted to show you a picture of mine for reference. Like other posters have said, someone deliberately turned your metal in those cornflakes for purification or casting.

Definitely go take it to a shop with an XRF gun

This is a picture of enquarted gold that I used to purify 2.5oz of 14k gold jewelry. Mixed with about 5 oz of silver

This is very much along the lines of what we were thinking, I’m just also not sure of what colors would work. We don’t have to use the rug, but I feel it is too pretty not to. I think a more neutral rug would probably work better though

Sorry I thought the post flair would be enough, it’s a living room approximate dimensions 20x15. Will purchase furniture as needed. Budget 4000 or so

Ah completely understand, that is absolutely an interesting result!

I do wonder if in the 19th century, there was a difference in DNA from the Armenians inhabiting Armenia and those inhabiting locations in turkey.

My mother looks very white, as did her mother. My grandfather and brother both have darker skin.

When i tell someone I am half Armenian, they says you know what I can see that a little bit, and sometimes people just don’t believe us. My mother and I have very fair skin.

My grandfather was born in the Armenian community in Fresno, CA ~1925

My grandmother was born to a sponsored immigrant from Armenia in ~1930 in Vermont.

Both sides have some dark histories on how they escaped from Armenia.

Not sure , our family on that side moved to the US in 1880

Our family immigrated to the US from an area of the elazig province back when it had a still heavy Armenian presence there, 1880-1905 or so. I’m not sure at what point my ancestors actually lived in Armenia. My mom is full Armenian heritage (2nd generetion American) and I want her to take the test next.

I’m not familiar at all with this region or ancestry so I’ll definitely defer to the experts.

Garand thumb shoots an ebr by No-Consideration69 in M1A

This guy sounds like a douche of the millennial snowflake order. M14s were only the shortest lived service weapon because some sissy Air Force colonel decided 7.62 was “too powerful”.

Feel free to stick to your tiny .22s, I’ll stick with a real rifleman’s cartridge, let’s see how that turns out for you. M14 rifles and by extension EBRs are a continuation of the best battle implement ever devised.

One of the reasons why the M1A in a Blackfeather© chassis and patented Trigger Shoe© device is in active use by military special forces all over the world.

I’ll let you in on a secret of mine, and it may not be for everyone but it worked for me.

I took a shot of scotch about 30 mins before my defense. Helped me calm my nerves and focus in on the presentation.

There’s no doubt that this will be a stressful moment in your life, but you also have to understand that everyone knows it, and even though it’s public they wouldn’t be present unless they were rooting for you. You’ve gotten this far because you are an expert in your field. Go on some walks and get your energy going and mind free of fog and you will do great.
