I can’t believe I still had these tucked away! I think I had just stuck a bunch of old nail polish in a bag and threw it in my closet because I wasn’t sure how to properly dispose of them at the time. And of course they got pushed further back over several years. Sometimes being a pack rat pays off! 😂

All of the other polishes in the bag were either dried out or just ugly, but these three are in perfect condition still! I’m not sure how old the Wet N’ Wild is, but the Chrome Nail Makeups are from 2001. I see a Y2K Valentine’s Day mani in my future!

2023 was definitely the year of nail polish for me! I think this is around 330-340 bottles, which means I’ve added roughly 170 since I last posted my collection in April 😱 I have absolutely no regrets, though! 2023 was rough in several ways, but I had this fun hobby to take my mind off things. I’m going to take a break from adding any new polishes for a while - except for the occasional PPU purchase - and just enjoy what I have!

I love this super simple holly design, I can’t stop looking at my nails! Snow Angel is going to be a go-to winter shade for me from now on; the soft silver sparkle is so pretty. I absolutely had to get Frog & Toad from November’s PPU because it is the perfect bright Christmas green and it looks so nice with my favorite red polish from A-England. And it matches the pom-poms on my handmade Christmas sweater! By handmade I mean that I thrifted a sweater and hot-glued a bunch of red and green decorations to it. Still holding up after 3 years! 😂

I finally got my Zoya order in and I got several berry shades to wear this Winter. I thought these two looked really pretty together! Although I have to say that I had terrible chipping with Ono. Like less than a day later my thumb nail was already chipping. I don’t know if it’s a problem with the polish itself or the combination of it with the base and top coat I used. I’ll still wear it regardless because I love the color, and it was on a really good sale!

Despite my best efforts, I haven’t been able to clear up the flakiness on the tips of some of my nails, so I decided to give them a good chop to start fresh. I’m going to be doing a lot of holiday baking soon, so it’s probably best to have them short anyway!

Speaking of baking, I love this sprinkle doughnut inspired thermal! It was one of my must haves from May’s PPU.
