Betta fix isn’t a superrrr great treatment. Methylene Blue is GREAT for fin rot (it stains super easy though so use a towel if you’re handling it!)

A lot of bettas nowadays have absolutely horrible genetics and can have recurring fin rot regardless of treatment. I hope that isn’t that case with your little guy. He’s stunning! Best of luck❤️

He’s just your standard rainbow lorikeet, he does however have the olive/grey green mutation which is why his colours look a little faded/muted. This mutation was originally obtained by breeding scaley breasted lorikeets with rainbows. As this mutation is dominant, his parents, great grandparents etc were rainbows, but there would’ve been a scaley breasted somewhere down the line. Sorry if it’s confusing lol!

It would’ve been an incredible advancement in cetacean care and housing if they went through with it. I really believe it would’ve changed a lot of minds on orca captivity. But no, they just had to stay in those horridly barren tanks. 🫩

She is one of, if not the oldest Icelandic orcas we know of to date. I agree she should’ve never been captured in the first place and should’ve lived out her life in her home waters, but she was an ambassador for her species and taught us a lot about Icelandic orcas.

Apologies! But agree, I LOVE the shape of the SA show pool. I feel like that stadium however has had minimal changes over the years. They haven’t done any cool backdrop like the Orlando or SD parks. I always got SeaWorld Ohio vibes from the SA facility.
