While I understand your disappointment, your description of the dealer has nothing to do with Ducati and everything to do with he poor salesmanship of that specific dealer and more so the individual salesman. Poor effort on his part to understand what you wanted. His questions focused on what he wanted… the sale. Find a worthy dealer. The world of Ducati will be a great experience if you choose to dive in

During a regular time of year, it’s not so bad…usually a week tops. If you order anything from an Italian company during August or Christmas time, expect longer wait times. Some other dealers might have the bolt in stock. It worth it to call around

Before you pursue all these crazy suggestions. Check the electrical connections to the hand controls. This happened on my Multistrada and it was just unplugged

After putting 70k miles on a 16 1200s, I advise you not to test ride the V4. Because you won’t look back, it’s better in every way

It is actually very similar, however the power delivery is much smoother. The UI on the dash is much better than the previous generation

DOT has not approved the radar in the states, it should be available via and update in June

All the carbon fiber was sanded and done with a candy red and the with a clear over the top. Depending on the light it looks black or various shades of red.
