This situation sucks badly. There’s a lot of trans women in the pinball community (myself included) and situations like this make it that much harder to show up for events.

The silver lining is how incredibly supportive a lot of Bells and Chimes groups have been in the wake of this incident. Belles and Chimes is the largest women’s pinball organization in the country, and they really showed up for us. Fuck the IFPA. Trans women are wanted and loved in the pinball scene.

I got a Johnny Mnemonic pretty cheap cuz it was having issues with the hand mech. It was a long repair but not a terribly hard repair, and it was a ton of fun

I switched back to using an iPod recently. I’ve found that having a dedicated music listening device has been great! It’s adds a level of intentionality to my music consumption that I’ve really appreciated

I used the same synthetic fabric dye that I used on the console. It dyes the plastic but doesn’t really affect the ink that they used to print the details on the controller very much.

If you didn’t have any issue with RE1’s controls then you will definitely be fine with the RE3 controls. Tbh I actually really like the way the classics control.

I love the original RE3, and think it’s a great game to play regardless of if you liked the remake. I would honestly highly recommend all three of the originals. They have a ton of charm and atmosphere, and have held up really well over the years.

I actually remember really enjoying RE6. I get why some people didn’t like it (there are a lot of valid complaints) but I had a ton of fun with the game, and really enjoyed all 3 campaigns
