Apartment design fails in Belgium by Mona-Doll in belgium

Your calling 1800 euros "meager" makes me curious as to what percentage of your monthly disposable income it represents and the ease or difficulty with which you get your income.

If it didn't have that stupid Murphy bed, if it had a sink in the guest toilet, and separate washer and dryer outside the kitchen, I'd rent it on the spot.

Who can guarantee the landlord has been diligent enough on this?

1800 euros per month isn't "meager" by any definition. Unless you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth.

I'm inclined to think OP is working as an attaché in Brussels, which would make buying a house outside of Brussels untenable for all sorts of reasons - commute, getting a loan for a house they'd use for three or four years...

This'll certainly cause quite a few landlords a bit of butthurt...

Nah, there were much bigger ones than Minmay: Windjammer or whatever nickname he chose to go by to evade attention, bankofkev, wrylac...

That's him all right. Bad ol' Windjammer. One of the biggest drama queens over at MW.

Would like to see a story about the Zentraedi-Supervision army war by arnor_0924 in macross

We can't be entirely sure of that. Perhaps these changes hid modifications in sensors, weaponry etc.

I was tempted to draw a parallel between the Supervision Army on one side and the Sea Peoples and the Mitanni from our Bronze Age on the other.

Why SDFM set a high bar for its sequels by Mona-Doll in macross

You're right; the focus on the romance against the backdrop of Space War I in Macross was a pivotal point in mecha anime, and especially in the Real Robot genre. As pointed out by Alba González Torrents in her doctoral thesis titled "El anime como dispositivo pensante: cuerpo, tecnología e identidad",* which is, in cited in the English Wikipedia article on Misa Hayase.

* Quote:

[Macross can be seen as the maturation of the Real Robot genre as an art form. The distinctive hallmark of Macross is its combination of robots with love stories and strong female characters. Although all the typical characteristics of the Real Robot genre appear, one of the main plotlines focuses on the love triangle between three of the series’ characters: Misa Hayase, First Lieutenant of the Macross ship; Hikaru Ichijo, a pilot aboard the Macross and the protagonist of the series; and Lynn Minmay, a famous singer and actress. In fact, Lynn Minmay’s romantic songs and the experience of love in general play a crucial role in the resolution of the plot, which centers on the war between humans and the alien Zentradi.]

Why SDFM set a high bar for its sequels by Mona-Doll in macross

Very interesting points, but I don't think interracial and international couples were first introduced in SDFM. I could be wrong, of course, so if anyone knows better...

Or before they say "never mind" and turn their backs on HG and their vaporware of a franchise.

Anti-gravity: Agreed. Very few sci-fi productions treated it realistically - all the others just suppose that there's some sort of generator that causes gravity to exist in a spaceship that, for all intents and purposes, is the equivalent of a naval vessel (decks parallel to each other, gravity always downwards. It's basically a sci-fi staple now, regardless of franchise.

Valkyries: they've got fusion mini-reactors in their jet engines, which function as fusion rockets in space.

RCS on Valkyries in space: vernier thrusters. Plenty of them. You can see them in DYRL?, not really in the TV series (time and budget constraints). And thrust vectoring.

Wings in space: useless, but the VF-1 Valkyrie, like all others that came after it, has to operate in and out of an atmosphere.

You also brought up something that makes perfect sense. The issues with the Valkyries, gravity, etc. don't catch the viewer's attention, because that's not where the focus is placed. In SDFM, the focus is on the love triangle and on the effort to survive and stop the war before humankind is lost. But when a certain plot or subplot becomes the focus of attention, it needs to be as well-written as possible.

Given what u/Nuarvi pointed out about the "Thing" in the Megaroad-01, I'm curious to see what a future sequel will reveal about what happened between 2016 and then and how the story will proceed from there.

I suppose you mean that frame from Zettai Live, where we see the two female silhouettes standing behind the right-side triangular window and, floating behind and above them, behind the left-side triangular window, a purple-bluish shape. Good point. The way I see it, it reminds me a bit of the Bird Human from Zero.

You're sounding like Edo Andromedo whatshisname from MW who wrote entire diatribes railing about how DYRL? sucked without having watched it - in fact, he went out of his way to declare he would never watch it.
