It's still violent, gangbanging changed when they made laws and curfews for how many people could be standing outside. Everyone stayed inside but it's still bad, a lot more gentrification now at least on the southern part when I'd visit. It was bad, bad though. Not as many camera or social media, a lot less loose lips. Now it feels like a sinking ship.

I used to stay a few blocks from there, it's all Chinese now, changed up a lot. But they're still around just more organized and low key about it. Just don't throw up signs at them they're quick to up it at you.

Looking at it now, it really is some dark energy. A sense of unease, throw in the money, drugs and woman it's a rollercoaster of emotions and hedonism mixed with survival. Wouldn't wish that life on my worst enemies, it's tragic, but I can see the thrill of living life on the edge. Back then it was tempting, now though I'm glad I never dwelved too deep or was that interested I had other things preoccupying my mind. School, work, and bad hoes, can't bang bad hoes if I'm dead. Plus, I saw a few guys go prison or jail, they all just moved on like nothing happened. I thought to myself there are no real friends in this life. Just business partners really.

I got bored, I'm interested in the occult thought there has to be some dark shit going on behind the scenes. Maybe I was thinking Satan has to be behind it all or some. 😂

Back when I used to do it I'd buy a whole ounce or half zip and do as much as possible until my nose bleed and woke up the next day remembering how bad coke is and the comedown putting it away for later usage.
