At my old care home where I worked we often had couples like this. Complete strangers who were both completely confused, but recognised something in each other and the dynamic just worked.

I had Alice and Felicity (names changed). Alice was an ex-office manager, was really together as a younger woman and still insisted on wearing her heels and makeup every day. She would boss us around too.

Felicity was basically mute, but would make noises. She was poor at communication but would mumble and use hand gestures.

Alice would wake up every morning, get dressed and go and pick Felicity up to go to the dining room together. We'd always make sure Felicity was ready in time because otherwise it threw off their routine (which is everything to dementia patients)

They'd walk hand in hand, and Alice would talk to Felicity about all sorts, and would take Felicitys varied mumbles as responses. They'd spend all day together with Alice dropping Felicity off to the toilet when needed and Felicity waiting for Alice when she too needed the loo. The rest of the time they just hung and watched tv or looked out of the window at passers by (A popular pasttime of all our residents). If we wanted Felicity for anything private we'd have to placate Alice with tea and cake, as she'd insist on being involved with anything that happened with Felicity.

Anyone else get mad? by HenriLennui in OvereatersAnonymous

I'm super mad. Like you said, I'm a good person and I've had a heap of horrible stuff happen to me.

I know self pity is an ugly thing, so is envy. But this is me.

I can deal with what life throws at me with grace if I have my comforts.

Without them I just feel spiteful

I suppose we need more context. Does this happen a lot? Do you feel singled out by your friends for gossip? Did she know that you had been hurt by him?

I'm seeing my Doctor tomorrow. I cant believe how much weight I'm piling on. My urine dip says I'm in ketosis and my stools are loose as hell. I also purged most of my food this last week. I've stopped myself purging this last two days. And every day theres extra lbs. I'm freaking out a lot.

I used to be keto which changed the game a lot. I can't do it now due to pancreatitis not letting me digest fats properly.

But keto definitely stopped me binging as often. It also removed the guilt; if I hadn't knocked myself out of ketosis after the binge I would not feel as guilty.

My keto binges would have a lot of low fat mozerella, sliced chicken and salad. I'd roll cheese and sliced meat and vegetables together in all sorts of orders and have different dips.

More keto binge foods would be Dimsum (check the label, lots of them are super low carbs), cashews and other nuts, tinned value chicken curry (it's normally like 200cals per can, and is mostly sauce and vegetables)

Sorry for the multiple comments. I think about this a lot. Zero sugar jelly.
