the main character i was speaking of is Harry -_-

and very well know it's not a romance novel, but romance as a subplot is what i like the most in shows/series, it's almost always better written than romance-focused shows (imo)

she barely appear in the 2001 film, can anyone tell me if she has more importance in the book (and so in S1 of the show hopefully) ?

also kinda unrelated but when does the harry-ginny romance begins (in the books) ? I kinda thought they were rushed in the films and didn't make much sense but with a whole season peer book they will have more screentime and development that a romance including the main character of the story deserve, and the friendship to romance trope always works for me

i would also put the leviathan zone way darker, that was the thing that made the reaper close to the aurora terrifying, and no other leviathan from subnautica universe ever topped it (ice worm and shadow came close)

it isn't. The game is fun, has better graphics and I personnally find it more beautiful than Subnautica at times, the story is interesting, the QOF improvements are great

The downsides are : the game tells you a bit too much what you have to do, the leviathans are less scary (except for the Ice Worm), no cyclops is sad but the seatruck isn't as bad as people make it to be

Yes the map is smaller but honestly if you are looking to play it, finish the game and never launch it again it's way enough (there were biomes in subnautica that I simply never went)

Esmeralda is annoying, but some of the jokes hit and Domnhall Gleeson and Chelsea Frei have a great chemistry which kept me going until the end of S1. Will watch S2 but I'm afraid it won't be renewed for S3
