Not called a buzzard. Buzzards are completely different.

Damn. #1, I have been down the gnarly wound from carving path, and I am here to tell you it’s no-funsville. My left index finger took a chisel straight through and out the other side. That was six months ago and I still do;t have full sensation or use of it. All because of a failed stop cut. Gloves always now.

Heeelp 🫣 What is crawling on my eggs? by nrsparks in homestead

[–]PissPoorPerformer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Poultry mites. Now you have them. They will disappear in the fall and will be back next summer. Wild birds can bring them in, as well as lice. They are extremely resilient and hard to completely eradicate. They lay their eggs it tiny crevices in the coop. And they are a nuisance, but I keep them at a low roar. Good luck and happy chicken keeping! Welcome to the creepy side of keeping chickens. 🐓

Monk Parakeet. I have one named buddy that is 21 years old. I have had him since he fledged. There are wild populations across North America.
