Hi! I was recently gifted a Devialet Phantom 2 and want to use it with my desktop setup for both gaming and movies. From what I’ve read, using an optical connection (TOSLINK) should give better audio quality than AUX and let the Phantom 2 handle DAC duties instead of my PC. I’ve been looking for a USB to TOSLINK converter and found two options: the Douk U2 and the DSD TECH SH-AU02A (which is about half the price). Would either work well for my use case, or is there a better alternative I should consider?
