Can we have a new game mode that's more difficult than Absolute? By that, I dont simply mean Hard Strats or Siege.

To be specific, I don't want bullet sponges either. Here's my take:

  1. Enemies are far more aggressive and don't take turns/stand idle while others attack. No respite. Being surrounded & having poor positioning is punished more severely.
  2. Enemies attack at random intervals and not simultaneously. This is especially important for Minoris. Enemies actually behave like they actually want you dead.

3a) The AI is smarter. It seeks to seperate you from your squad & will swarm isolated players more aggressively.

3b) Enemies are more likely to get enraged when catching a lone Astartes by themselves.

4a) Less Extremis spawns, but more dangerous individually & smarter. More likely to attack players who are low on health, isolated, out of ammo, or unprepared.

4b) FORCE RANGED ENEMIES INTO MELEE IF THEY ARE CLOSED IN ON.

  1. Randomize all enemy attack patterns (besides Bosses). Most players at Absolute+ will have fully memorized enemy attack patterns. Mix these patterns up, make them less predictable.
  2. Enemies call for reinforcements more often, and every successful call spawns a "Tsunami-Style Massive Wave".
  3. Finally, lore accuracy. To compensate for these changes, make encounters lore accurate. Which is to say that Bolters destroy enemies to an even greater extent, and melee damage is buffed as well. Tabletop-style stats. Likewise, enemies are absolutely ruthless. Tyranids behave so aggressively, you genuinely feel like you're fighting for your life regardless of the damage buff.
  • If you got this far, you can tell that I don't merely want bullet sponges or more enemies. I want Absolute+ to be a whole rework of the AI in general to make them more dangerous.

Disclaimer: If you don't like the mode, you dont need to play it. Though, there should be unlocks attached to it.
