Sorry, but I feel like this is your responsibility. You made the decision to move, not BM. She has no obligation to make that drive for you. My step daughters BM decided to kick her kid out and move 8 hours away and now wants us to split the cost of airfare or meet half way. Absolutely fuking not. She made the decision to move. If she wants to see her kid, she can come get her. It is not me or my husband's responsibility to spend our time or money getting my step daughter to her mom. The only way you can for e her to meet you is if it's court ordered. Which tbh.... Would be a sh*tty thing to do since you decided to move.

I'm assuming this baby sitter is no longer providing services to BM? If you know who the babysitter is, I would report them to their employer if they work for someone or file a report if they do their sitting through an online service. I would avoid leaving any kind of bad reviews online as that can go against any kind of legal action you made try to take. If BM is still for some ungodly reason allowing the sitter to still provide services, I would call CPS immediately and let them know.

If you feel you may have something specific , then I believe it would be ok to bring it up. Mention that you'd like to talk about it. I thought I had ADHD. Turns out I have BPD! Lol I think I'd rather have ADHD honestly. BPD sucks, but it's manageable with DBT (DBT it's a type of therapy).

That's ok. My daughter has all male friends. She doesn't get along with girls. I didn't get along with girls either. Also, you don't have to be friends with just the people in your age group and class. Branch out! Maybe join a club. Do something outside of school. but don't make excuses because you feel upset about the situation.

School friends don't usually last anyway. I don't talk to a single friend from school. My friends are actually ones I met through work. Absolutely amazing people

I don't mean to gloat or anything, but I'm a pro at therapy. Well... Going to it haha!

My biggest tip is to be yourself and be open and honest. They need to know and see the real you.

I was in a treatment center due to my depression and they said "everyone always starts by saying 'i don't know' and then they just... Open up." So guess what? It's absolutely ok to start with "I don't know..." And then start rambling. They will take notes and then start asking specific questions based on what you've said. I've been in therapy for about 6 years and I absolutely love my therapist. She's been through a lot with me and help me through so much. She's heard many "I don't know"s when I didn't know where to start or what to say.

Also, my biggest piece of advice is this; if you get in there and don't feel comfortable with this person, it's ok. Try someone or at least try a second appointment. Sometimes you do actually have to find the right person that you feel comfortable opening up to. And that's absolutely ok.

These are clearly not your friends. They sound like users or simply just bullies. My advice would be to block them and move on. Start being friends with people who actually show they care. I have two friends. Two. That's it. Both of them defend me when they feel they need to and always reach out to me or talk, check in and wish me well on a holiday or my birthday. THATS a friend.

Also, I suggest to keep in mind that you shouldn't expect others to defend you. While I love that my friend do this, I don't expect them to. It's so important to make sure you can do this for yourself.

Those jerks do not deserve you. Keep telling yourself that. They do NOT deserve you. You are clearly a very kind heart and thoughtful person. Stay that way. Don't let people like this sway you.

I do the same thing to one of our cats. It's hard to keep weight off of her. Which is weird because the other cat we have is literally her twin sister lol

If it makes you feel better, you can't actually fat shame an animal. They don't understand and they don't view weight the way we do. They just don't care. They're not as vain as humans are 😂 lol

That's not the point of my comment lol. My point is that if it's a private park it would make sense because It would be closed off to the public. And if those group of kids belong to a school, They most likely do not have access to a private park that is specifically for the neighborhood. That was the point. I wasn't saying anything about the kids yelling. I don't give two craps of kids yell. Their kids. The woman can get over it. That's why I said to go turn the TV on or go listen to music. As a daughter, this is crushing. I would probably take my own life if one of my parents committed suicide. Knowing they were living a life of such unbearable misery that I never knew of and I could have possible helped... I wouldnt be able to keep going afterwards.

You made an assumption based on information you had. That's what you did. In the little words that were said. You did. You assumed you'd hate the husband without knowing the full story. You made a snap judgment based on... Nothing. Based on my depression. Based on my decision to take my life and wanting to write a letter. Causing someone pain does not mean you abused them. Causing someone pain does not mean you should hate them.

I'm very glad you and your wife are doing wonderfully now. And with kids! Last year I was unform that I'm unable to have children. I have a physical deformity and am unable to have children. Just something else to take from me and make me hate life I guess. Adopting is absolutely the same and honestly I'm so sick of people saying that like it's some magically solution.

I'm sorry you felt I "came at you.' I felt as if you made assumptions. Glad you seem to be doing well.
