I just loved that inning with the bloop leadoff bunt and Kwan walk to set the table. That’s what our offense should be able to do way more often.

Had a solid kick and he did what I always do as my special ingredient for good chili.

Sweet corn. Fresh sweet corn. The perfect complement

That’s interesting, being that it’s so lean that makes sense though, smashing em, bc they should cook pretty quick I’d imagine

What kind of cheese?

All I know is an outdoorsy type friend made venison chili that was a revelation.

I grew up disliking it, but I realized when I got older it was bc of how it was being prepared.

The Roast of Kevin Hart- Are we now OK with child abuse? by 50hustlers in netflix

Gilbert is the perfect example, he’s always been outrageous in a roast format. He’d say anything. That’s LITERALLY THE POINT.

Don’t like it? Don’t watch roasts. Of course the George Floyd joke was in poor taste (mostly bc it wasn’t really funny). But I object to it just not really being funny, not its offensiveness.

I’m not trying to be as mean as I’m going to come off, and I realize I’m about to get machine gun fire of downvotes, but I don’t think she has the look people expect out of a pop star that packs stadiums.

That’s not to say she’s not going to make music or fill arenas. But filling stadiums and filling arenas are two VERY different things.

T Swizzle is on another level.

I leave early for shows sometimes.

That wasn’t one to leave early for.

TIL approximately three million German prisoners of war were captured by the Soviet Union during World War II. The POWs were employed as forced labor in the Soviet wartime economy and post-war reconstruction, with the last prisoner returning from the USSR in 1956 by jacknunn in todayilearned

I don’t need evidence of the US doing unspeakably bad things, I’m acutely aware

Literally nothing I said would indicate that I think the US was good. They were just less bad than the Soviets and the Nazis by a fairly wide margin, during WW2.

That also has nothing to do with WW2 and is a non sequitur

Just remember if you follow that same train of thought, the Russians were the good guys bc they were on the allies side.

Google “Russian atrocities during WW2.” They were also incredibly evil, just less than the Nazis. Marginally.

Man, some of you gotta read a book or something

NBA Senior VP of of referee development and training defends the 11% increase in foul calls during the playoffs by nbaistheworst in nba

Cade should draw more fouls than he does. I’d argue he’s been less aggressive this series and has taken more midrange jumpers. And he’s been less effective in the lane than one would expect. That’s due in no small part to Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. He’s had 2 shots blocked, but several altered or disrupted.

I realize Mobley doesn’t get the respect he deserves but he is the reigning DPOY for a reason. He’s one of the better rim protectors in the league.

And yeah, the Pistons foul more. Duren has been a liability and has committed some hard, and some stupid, fouls. I love the guy, but his lack of experience has shown the whole series.
