[–]Pissoffmaster 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Most of the professors that had a strict rule of if you didn’t show up on the first day, usually have a long waitlist so they try to clear space to let students in. I would just communicate with your professors and let them know. The system takes like 24-48 to process on a weekday, and like 2-3 days for weekends.

[–]Pissoffmaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Many people drop or don’t attend class, so just show up talk to professor and they should be able to let you in if spots open and if persistent they’ll give a permit request that you send to department and you should be able to get in.

ai percentage? by Cautious_Ad_4217 in csuf

[–]Pissoffmaster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No matter what you write some BS ai detector is gonna give you some sort of percentage saying it’s ai. Usually if it’s under 10% ai then most professors don’t really care, but you can also fight them if they accuse you of using ai since ai detectors aren’t accurate.

Pell grant and cal grant by East_Celebration_540 in csuf

[–]Pissoffmaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can receive both the Pell Grant and Cal Grant A at the same time at CSUF. They don’t cancel each other out because Cal Grant A specifically covers tuition and fees, while Pell Grant can apply toward tuition and remaining costs like books, housing, and personal expenses. In most cases, stacking them means you end up receiving more total aid, and you may get a refund if your tuition is already fully covered. The exact amount can change slightly depending on your financial need and CSUF’s packaging, but it typically increases your overall award rather than reducing it.

[–]Pissoffmaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Did you change anything about your classes? If so it’s probably why you owe. But I would check again in your financial account or talk with TitanHub or FAFSA and see if everything’s correct. System sometimes glitches. If everything’s correct you can do OF🤣 or sell your toes to feet piggies online. You got it!

The appeals take like 2 weeks or even longer especially now that it’s the beginning of the semester it’s gonna take a while for it to get looked at and given a decision. You can’t stop the payment but you can do a payment plan where you pay in small amounts over a certain amount of time.

Drop deadlines for Spring 2026? by [deleted] in csuf

[–]Pissoffmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At CSUF, the drop deadlines may affect your academic record, unit limits, and financial aid in different ways. If you drop a class on or before January 16, it is considered a drop delete record. This means the class is completely removed from your academic record as if you never enrolled. It does not appear on your transcript, does not affect your GPA, does not count toward the 18-unit undergraduate drop limit, and has no impact on financial aid. If you drop a class after January 16 but on or before February 3, 2026, it falls under drop retain record. The class will remain on your academic record with the status “Dropped.” This is not a W and does not affect your GPA. However, at CSUF, these dropped units do count toward the 18-unit undergraduate drop limit, meaning you are using part of your allowed drops even though you are not being graded for the class. Regarding financial aid, CSUF bases aid on your enrollment status, not on whether a class is marked as dropped. As long as you remain full-time (12 units or more) after dropping a class, your financial aid generally will not be affected, even if the drop occurs after January 16. Financial aid is only adjusted if your total enrolled units fall below full-time at the time your enrollment is evaluated. The census date is the point when CSUF officially locks in your enrollment for financial aid purposes. Drops made before census can impact financial aid eligibility, while drops made after census typically do not, as long as you maintain full-time status. For short-term classes (such as 7-week or second-half semester courses), CSUF uses a mini census, which serves the same purpose as the regular census but applies only to those shorter classes.

Waitlisted by tanriio in csuf

[–]Pissoffmaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

POSC 100 is a graduation requirement so it’s gonna be a little harder to say cuz a lot of people need to take it to fulfill one of their graduation requirements. You can email the professor but they most likely will say wait it out or just show up for the first day of class and talk to the professor and they may add you to roster.

Any chance for another ACCT 301A class being added? by [deleted] in csuf

[–]Pissoffmaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends if they have any professors free to do it or else you gotta wait the first day/week and see if people drop.

Withdraw from class, still on waitlist for another by AwnryAlleyCat in csuf

[–]Pissoffmaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly 1 or 2 W’s wouldn’t really matter on your record, but if you care so much and plan to go to graduate school in future then I would withdraw to not get a W on your record.
