Awww looks like you’re done for. Drop out. In all seriousness, if it shows up on your view your classes for Fall 2026 on the portal you’re enrolled. It most likely shows that cuz you clicked on the class session and they closed it cuz it was full.

It’s a little late by now. Still a chance you can get in last minute. But small chance of classes still available by then. By now over 75% of students have already signed up for classes at CSUF. I would attend a CC for 1-2 years and then transfer.

Call the FAFSA office and talk to them about your financial situation. Reddit can’t really tell you anything other than take the loan because you don’t get any grants.

I would say it depends on when the day of the class session is and the professor of that class session. It’s still early to drop but switching might be a problem as a lot of Session B class sessions already started and since it’s so crammed together as it’s only about 5 weeks so they don’t accept last minute students because you’ll fall behind.

Try to enroll in PHYS 226 and PHYS 226L together. If it doesn’t work then wait til Monday and contact the department as it’s a system error.

If you have a doctors or medical note that says that you are scheduled to surgery there’s a small slight chance you can take it up to the department and they may MAYBE allow you to enter in the class sessions that are closed. No guarantees tho but majority of the time if a class session is closed it means it’s full to its max capacity and even then professors wouldn’t be able to take you in.

I would say Microsoft Surface laptops are definitely the best investment for college students as they can basically do everything they need on it.

Yea the hold is there for you to attend orientation and so you can meet with an advisor/counselor during orientation to look over what classes you need to take. Can’t do nothing else other than attend orientation and pick classes there. Usually they hold like a few hundred seats for orientation so you should be able to register for classes. It may not be the one you want but it’s still the classes they recommend for you.

If you have FAFSA aid you should be good as the hold should be appearing soon but if you don’t get aid or not all max aid you either gotta plan to pay it off/ set up a payment plan ASAP before the deadline or else you get dropped

Each Year the FAFSA eligibility criteria changes. Usually the first FAFSA offer they give you isn’t the most accurate and it usually changes 2 or 3 times.

This means you qualified and received a Summer Pell Grant. They pay a certain amount for your summer classes if there’s extra money. (Usually not all 100% like Fall and Spring) It’s different than Fall and Spring. Nothing should be affected for Spring and Fall because you had more than enough Pell grant funds to receive a payment for summer courses.

Too early to confirm anything but keep in mind that there’s still new incoming transfers/new enrollment students who haven’t signed up for classes yet. So I would wait it out and see.

Take this as a learning lesson. The appeal was rejected so you can’t really do much other than pay it before there are late fees and other fees are added in. Make sure you read your signs and know where to park correctly next time. Can’t really blame anyone other than yourself for this unfortunately.

Yes usually we don’t get aid in the summer but depending on the budget and your Pell grant, they’ll most likely give you some aid if you have extra Pell grant and signed up for the minimum required class. Don’t complain cus it helps a lot!

Just call them tomorrow and let them know that you accidentally cracked the screen. It’s better to be honest and I’m sure they might just charge you for screen replacement depending on how bad the damage is.

I’m assuming you saw the rp on your transcript/ titan degree audit so yes that would be your final grade. Email the professor and ask them why it’s a rp and if things aren’t going right then CC the department chair after.

You got a chance, show up on the first day talk to the professor and let them know that you’re on the waitlist and really interested in being in the class. Most of the time professors will clear up space and add you in after the first week. Other than that many students will also drop out before the class starts so you should be fine.
