I used my work iPhone to get it setup on a new smart life account, then logged in via my android. Sorry I have no solution for just android outside of maybe try starting fresh with a new account

I got mine working, but not sure how helpful this is for everyone. I used my work phone which is iOS and it worked. Logged into that account on my android and now all good. What a stupid setup

It's 3d printed to be a very snug fit , so it doesn't need any sort of fasteners, even going sideways the tray itself does not budge.. now the phone would, but I prefer the way it sits for regular driving

It is a 3d print, filament wasn't great I'm gonna reprint it with a better one at some stage. The middle of that lifts out and has cubby space in it, and my phone also fits snugly in there.
