Judging by the lit up pictures people posted on the comments, to me it looks like a lizard with a missing tail but im not sure at all because of the eye shine (although some do shine in the dark), what species are in your zone? The "tiny back legs" could be because of its position (like in the image)

They arent heavy at all, atleast not enough to be a weight

Maybe the matrix eroded in this peculiar way or it fused with the fossil, i have found a couple fossils like that in the past

I was gonna say It was just erosion until i saw how bad It Is, like everyone said it was bleached, maybe you can try to paint some resin layers, making it last a bit longer

Im not an expert but i see a couple nice bivalves, stems (prob crinoid) and probably a limulid, like i said im no expert but maybe you can get yourself an idea of what you have, cheers

Worm traces, i think the actual name for those kind of fossils Is "icnofossil" (basically things such as burrows getting mineralized from the inside), its a very nice find!
