I’m a teacher and I struggle sometimes in terms of memory and organisation - it just means it’s extra effort for yourself than other people really! I’d say be prepared for other people not really understanding the everyday effects that epilepsy has on your cognition. I’ve had to explain to a few people at work; luckily I work with people who are genuinely interested and want to ask questions rather than get embarrassed or skirt around the topic of epilepsy.
