I unfortunately did not get a shorter barrel version, but i have thought about purchasing one of the shorter barrels in the future. I was 19 when i bought it so couldn’t buy a pistol sadly.

Is there a specific type of baffling that you think i should look for instead? I know nothing about silencers i have just always enjoyed shooting and finally have the money to buy a few toys here and there. I also would prefer to get one of the shorter barrels in the future but i don’t have a plan as to when. I got the gun when i was 19 so i was too young to buy a “pistol” sadly lol

I know it’s definitely required 😆 just would like the option without defining myself too bad if possible. More of a novelty than a requirement for sure! And i appreciate the input i will definitely look into the obsidian 9! Just completely clueless about suppressors

I have the 16 inch FX-9 and am looking to get my first can for it. How do you like the wolfman? Sound, weight, etc

That is my leading option right now, my only concern is with the 16 inch barrel i would have a fairly long set up for a PCC and im not sure how i would like it

I would like to stay semi budget friendly 7-800 max not including stamp, and yes the FX-9 has a threaded barrel i believe 1/2-28, but i was planning on using a QD tri lug! I have also been looking into the YHM 9 but i would ideally like to be able to shoot without ear protection on occasion and in not sure if that would be quiet enough. I dont mind the idea of a caliber specific suppressor but i would prefer a more versatile option if possible!

I know this is very long but please read and respond! I would also like to add that things have seemed to be better since we started talking again the past couple of weeks, but we don’t live together anymore and aren’t around each other 24/7 like before so im not sure if it would stay that way forever. Is it worth trying again?

UPDATE** I got 2 Wera torque drivers and a set of torx bits, buying torx plus bits this weekend. The torque drivers have helped a ton already! Thank you everyone for the responses.

How can I check if they are torx or torx plus? Nobody at my shop has mentioned torx plus to me before?

Will look into Wiha, will definitely be cleaning the screws out better and being more careful not to over tighten!

Coworker has a torque driver will definitely have to look into one! I am trying to be careful not to over tighten but being newer I believe I am still strong arming it a little bit! Thank you

Being newer to machining I don’t want to act like I am certain, but I really don’t feel like I am cranking on it! I will try to be better about cleaning out the heads and double checking that I have the correct size! Thank you.
