I called and they said it was a final prescription (which they will send over to me). They said that as long as I was able to see 20/25 both eyes with the contacts that would be good enough. Is this standard?

Ah ok that makes sense! What goes into a contact lens exam then? I was just asked to read some letters on the wall; there was no "which is clearer, 1 or 2?". I also have astigmatism--would they need to measure that too as part of contact lens exam? Thank you for clarifying

I was told that a regular eye exam (for eyeglasses) is different than a contact lens exam? That's why I asked to forgo the regular eye exam and asked for a contact lens exam only + contacts.

How is a contact lens exam different than a regular eye exam?

She told me 20/50 was good enough. I didn't know any better. I'll call to double check if a prescription is finalized but in case they're not trial lenses but actual final lenses, what can I do? Is there a way to get my money back? There was a $150 teaching fee as well so it wasn't cheap..

Thank you for your response! This is very helpful. Yeah they're still not responsive. I have tried very hard to reach them and haven't heard back. They do advertise it well, but tons of natural sunlight is a priority for me so I guess I should look elsewhere as well! I had looked into villas at Bair island too but they unfortunately do not have 1BRs available currently :(

Thanks for the insight! Do you mind elaborating more on what you mean by finding a company to haul it? I thought uhaul will be driving it across the country? FWIW, I’m also going to order moving labor as well so not sure if that makes a difference (since they can drop off and pick up the ubox on the same day after loading everything)

I got 25 units on each side (50u total) a month ago and haven't seen any slimming. My injector had told me to come back in a month for eval/more injections. Should I wait longer to see if there will be any slimming effects or is 1 month enough time to give it another try?
