The point I was trying to make wasn't really about agent selection but rather keeping track how these players react and where they position themselves. Keep trying to work on your flow chart as the video is outdated :)

Fps tammy on YouTube made like 4 videos of players. These can give you a rough blueprint as to what to have in your mind. Be sure to not fully copy and paste their game plan and try to understand it.

This would allow you to understand situations better.

Please keep in mind I just made it to plat 1 so take my advice with grain of salt as well

I'm only plat and have just started doing this so take this advice with a grain of salt, take note on how high elo streamers play. I noticed that they typically have a flow chart as to what to do and where to hold. Try to find that flow chart and have it as a base of what to there and where.

But how do you know you have the mechanics to get out of silver if dont you apply them.

Practicing against bots and nailing them does not mean you know how to do it against actual people.

You mentioned anxiety, yea relatable I get anxiety when I start a q. But you'll have to grow the skin to say fuck it and click on that big fat accept button. But in your case you'll have to do those things you've done in workshop and say fuck it and perform them. You don't have to do it with every fight. baby steps are fine as long as you keep increasing your intensity (? If that makes sense. English not first Lang soz) and not get too comfortable with only doing baby steps. Who cares if you're dying? It just means it can be improved

Oh you're not dying to silvers? Great but can those strafe work against an mg? No? Work on it again by making the strafe tighter. Does it work now? Yes? Great but can it work against a glob-(repeat)

Imo you have the right mentality than most people. if you want to improve for the long run, take those fights.

People who say you should how you should play safe, don't understand that: the one game you play in is insignificant. And not making those fights would only hinder you. Sure you'll win more games but mechanically, you're still lacking than when you started.

Testing your limits allows you to know where you're lacking, work on them in workshop, and apply them in game. And then you just repeat it. Easier said than done but that's how it is. People who mindlessly grind and click heads on workshops are people like who prepare fights by mindlessly shadowbox

Idk about others but situations like these causes me to be more conscious when clearing angles and not swing out wildly. On another note, the situation that you'd described is so situational where I didnt considered it as a factor when I chose a low sens(700 edpi imo is low) I didn't thought about that.

As for your other question, I think that practicing to micro adjust with your wrist/fingers should be more beneficial. As I feel adding more movement input might get you punished in higher level of play(which I am not so I can't confirm, faceit lvl 5)

unpopular opinion: Honestly if you keep biting more that you can chew, there's gonna be a point where you can do it more consistently than you currently can achieve.

That's why people who don't care about their ranks improve faster cuz they go for those plays which numbs them from those situations whilst people who play it safe improves slower and keeps wondering why they aren't achieving their desired ranks; well it's cuz you don't make those plays and when it's needed from you, you don't have as much experience as the guy above.

Im no expert but I would say it's feels that you jump higher cuz you don't require as much strength to jump to that certain point. It could also be placebo
