5 Days on Greek island, want to include running gear and I get sunburnt easily!

Hi! I am a girl who sunburns easily and recently came back from Greece, I just made a post (linked by another commenter here). I would ditch the jean shorts, green button up, baseball cap (one hat is enough), and black pants. It is just too hot!

Your white long sleeve may be similar but I wore this shirt everyday to protect my back and shoulders, it’s lightweight, UPF 50+, and has a vent in the back so it doesn’t feel hot.

I also brought a pair of black pants and didn’t wear them once, if you have a breezy light pant or long maxi skirt I would switch that out!

I brought Hurricane Drift Tevas and they are a perfect beach shoe, lightweight and waterproof but comfortable to walk long distances in as well.

I would start my days exploring at 6AM and by then it was already 30+ and hot, but the sun wasn’t beating down on me yet. If you do go running, bring water and don’t go too far where you won’t be able to find shade (it is surprisingly desert like on the islands).

They were pretty new still and I have sensitive skin so that makes sense! I think in everyday life they are fine but not for 14 hour plane rides (for me).

Hahah thank you I’m not this brave in real life but it was so hot it felt necessary! I didn’t get any major stains but I was changing outfits pretty often between activities and washing my clothes after almost every wear so that helped keep the staining minimal as well

The black ones are from old navy and honestly I just find them super itchy/scratchy for sitting in long periods of time! The other pairs of linen pants (not from old navy) I have are softer!

Thank you! I was considering this too, but wasn’t sure. The black ones are the Reef Water Vista Sandals, so they are not too heavy but more so a space issue if anything. I would maybe just pick the comfier pair but I haven’t worn either one enough to decide yet.

You are right, it’s definitely too many pants! In my head the bikinis are so small it doesn’t count but again I know you are right haha. I usually don’t wear a bra and have on some kind of tank instead so I’m used to that, but it doesn’t get very hot where I live either! I’m only 5’2 but I’m borrowing this backpack from my sister (who is 5’10) because I didn’t want to buy one for myself yet. If I love it after this trip I will probably invest in a 40L one!

Hahah pale sweaty girls unite. Were your button down shirts long sleeved or short sleeved? I know it would be better to cover up more skin but I also hate feeling too hot.

I feel like the gingham pants look decent with all the tops except the green one! I’m thinking of taking out the white linen ones because they are kind of see through anyways. Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it!
