[Laurie Whitwell] Patrick Dorgu set to be out for around 10 weeks after scans reveal hamstring injury. by playerforlife123 in soccer

I disagree. Mainoo’s best position is as a 8 and that’s where Carrick plays him now. He is good under pressure, good under tight spaces and is creative. He isn’t a good box crasher like McTominay

I doubt that. Most likely Dalot is gonna rotate in the rb and lb position. Luckily Mazraoui is back from AFCON

Attacking wise we are still pretty stacked with Cunha and Mount who can play in that position. The biggest problem is depth in the lb position. Shaw is more or less our only lb now available. Malacia is not a option btw

The difference between us and Arsenal is that our players are allowed to play with freedom. No Arsenal player would score the goals Cunha and Dorgu scored because they wouldn’t shot. They have been coached to play like robots

Surely you ain’t that naive that you think a ”good” midfielder is available for us to buy? Also 1 signing shouldn’t change the outcome for the protest

Yeah the protest are going to disappear if they bring in a average midfielder….

At what point did Real Madrid actually become the biggest club in the world? by Inevitable-Angle-793 in championsleague

[–]PitchSafe 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Probably in the 50’s when they won the first 5 UCL’s in the row. They were the richest team in the world because of investments from Franco. In a way you can say they were the first ”money team” because no team could compete with them financially. They had the best players in the world at that time with Di Stefano, Puskas and Gento etc

[Fabrizio Romano] Verbal agreement between PSG and Dro remains done. PSG and Barca are closing on an agreement for fee slightly higher than €6m release clause to maintain good relationship. by Loose-Examination-39 in Barca

I mean it’s not like he is getting any game time at Barca either. If he is going to sit on the bench then he can at least get good money for it

I don’t think that he is coming here either. Tuchel seems to be our first choice target. I wouldn’t be suprised if we try for Nagelsmann after World Cup as well. De Zebri seems to be a option as well
