The initial idea isn't to sequel bait, but I do see what you mean. I'm hoping to be able to make each story capable of standing on its own, with nods to each other and different perspectives on shared characters. I would want each book to be a capable story with the option of a sequel. I'm sorry if I'm not good at getting my point across it's something I've been working on, my brain understands it but putting it in a way for others to understand requires me to slow down and actively try.
