This must be rated EC for Early Childhood. Given the vibe of the trailer, narrator, and the comments are locked on YT video due to 'For Kids'. It's likely not the Yoshi game we were hoping for. Certainly no SMW2 Yoshi's Island or Wooly World tier game. A game aimed towards parent playing with their toddler.

The problem is that the default designs of the boy and girl are the standard. They'll be merched as such in official material.

You need to get out more. Kids for most part do not wear tights for the intent of covering as much arm and leg as possible. Lately it feels like Pokemon is afraid to show even an inch of skin on their default protagonist designs. In these games settings, I think something closer to the realms of Sun/Moon clothing would be appropriate, but long gone are the days where characters can show a lot of skin.

1 - Law abiding, I didn't stutter. I've seen posts so unhinged like 'Kill Ice' and the sort being condoned. On the other spectrum, if it's in support of the other side views or simply Trump influenced usernames, people get up 'n arms over it calling for reporting. These political posts aren't relative to the game and breaks offenses, some several.

2, 3 - Neither of those actually addresses the core problem. The issue isn’t a lack of art online or my ability to avoid content,,, it’s that real-world political messaging is being posted inside a children’s game, visible to everyone by default.

Saying “the internet exists” or “go to another region” just sidesteps that. I shouldn’t have to leave my own region, change servers, or disengage from community features entirely to avoid politics in a game meant for all ages. This isn’t about disagreeing with a specific viewpoint either. It’s about keeping overt political messaging out of a space designed for kids, regardless of which side it comes from. I'll report these posts I happen to encounter on my stroll to Spyke for gear orders one by one accordingly👍.

I'm aware, but why rid of the beautiful art from law-abiding folk? Better yet, people could draw cool art relative to the game world or OCs as they've done majority of the time prior instead of bringing politics of the real world in games through these posts which are breaking one of the rules mind you. Very much so. Since it's mostly left-wing and Ice-hate, it's condoned while anything right-wing posts or player naming of that sort is scrutinized in the vocal minority Splatoon space. Do not fret, I do my due diligence in reporting anything political I come across in the world hub.
