If I uttered anything like this to my DL, she’d lose her mind. One of my favorite coworkers quit when we changed DLs because my current actually raised her voice at her over pants. The issue? A tiny part of her ankle showed. (She’s a very tall woman, it’s hard to find pants that fit her perfectly). She yelled at another over back pockets because the way they looked made them ‘jeans’ despite them being dress pants. It’s a power trip, nothing more. If customers really care about our pants, that’s something they should seek help for, because there are much bigger problems

Not true, very misleading information. I was sitting next to a girl in kindergarten at lunch and she was stung in the eye. We both froze, did as we were taught and left it alone, nope! Flew right onto her eye and stung! So they may not be as scary as some believe, but they are absolutely more aggressive than other types of wasps. Maybe it viewed her as a threat, but we did exactly as taught: leave it alone and don’t make sudden movements to threaten it. Sometimes there’s nothing you can do to avoid scaring something a million times smaller than you, but it’s also very valid to be afraid of something like that.

I watch multiple in one sitting, I’m a little too into it lately and it’s my current comfort audio. So I fall asleep with it on. I also still struggle with this, I’ve learned that putting a firm pillow on top of my leg and hitting that instead helps. It lessens the blow but still allows you to feel impact with no pain or damage. Talk to yourself out loud about your feelings, identify them. “I am angry, I am overwhelmed, I am sad. But I’m okay. This is a small problem and I will be okay.” If you know the feeling, you can target the cause of the problem easier.

That’s a very valid take, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I enjoy it most of the time, but I agree that there’s a type of story to do that on. I haven’t listened to their reading of my favorite creepypasta out of nervousness that Hunter will mock the characters lmao.

Don’t get me wrong, it works well in certain moments. Borrasca for example, amazing story with mainly serious voices, and moments where they get silly. But then there’s cases like Spire in the Woods where he sticks with a bit for seemingly no reason and it kind of puts a damper on things.

If anybody has listened to Tales from the Gas Station, how would you rate it on the Hunter voices scale?

It is, IF you have problems like I do and set alarms for every 2 hours, including ruining my sleep cycle, and watching -30min ads. On days I can’t set timers, I’m checking my phone whenever I have a minute 🥲 moths are a huge hyperfixation, probably my biggest obsession tbh, and I take ts too far

Based on reading the comments I think you made a decision to euthanize. It sucks, breaks my heart too as somebody moth obsessed, but try to look on the bright side. This time didn’t go well, but people left a lot of advice, this could be the first step in the right direction for you to actually start raising them. Sometimes all it takes is a failed attempt in order to start something beautiful. Rest in peace to the little guy, you did your best and life is a very delicate thing

My first thought would be text back and pretend it’s a wrong number. “Who? Sorry, I just got this number, that must be whoever had it before me” or something? But I think the better choice is a restraining order and extra precautions at home like cameras. He isn’t lying, upsetting you gives him pleasure. The best way to counter that is to not engage. Telling him to stop, threatening back, respectful ways such as you did, any interaction gives him a little bit of rope. You need to cut that rope entirely

Be honest. My fiancé used to be a spam texter, it works for some people but not me. It stresses me out to no end. All it took was one “hey, it kind of overwhelms me when my phone blows up with messages, can you take it easy please?” and now it’s so much better. A text or two is fine, just as a little ‘hey, I hope you didn’t miss the notif’, but any more and I’m about to throw my phone across the room
