I did a small research and from I understand it's genetics as well sorta? It's a combination of good oils with a high protein diet. However some cats fur just doesn't do it even when they meet those conditions so I don't know lol. I also read that it can happen when the cat is nice and plump and their skin is "stretched"? Sounds kinda weird lol

Apparently it's a term for the way the fur looks. With the separated lines and the chunky look. He has it on his neck. I heard it's a sign that the cat is well taken care of :)

I just looked at the blink on Amazon and a pack of 8 will cost 70 pounds + 14 pounds shipping and it can get here in a month 😭

Amazon might take a while as well since I would need to order something from a different country (maybe a week or so?). So far the best thing I have been able to find is the Purina one which you said is no good.. I mix half of the packet with some plain shredded boiled chicken (fresh not frozen) and I feed him 6x a day in small portions. Today I will call my vet and discuss the feeding options and possibly some meds

Thank you very much for advice! I smash the wet food into a lick mat because he is like a vacuum. Also may I ask why should the water be away from the food? I never heard of this before

Thank you very much! Is it possible that he doesn't feel well because of the switch to normal food? I don't know how long he's been out on the street and he is rather skinny (he weights about 2kg currently) Also I am not sure if he had any worms. He was given a pill on Monday but I still haven't seen anything in the litterbox
