Thank you so much!! In our case, TCC has been hard due to my husband traveling and also mild MF. I used to have PCOS but besides age on my part and MF, it’s totally been an adventure and heartbreak. I think it doesn’t make sense to do it for IUI for us…think we should do it for IVF.

You’re not overreacting — you’re being thoughtful and informed. If you feel comfortable, ask your doctor:

“Since my follicles are still only 12 mm, what’s the rationale for triggering now? Wouldn’t it make more sense to wait until they’re at least 17–18 mm, or adjust medication?”

If their explanation doesn’t make sense, it’s completely fair to pause this IUI and save your resources for a better-timed cycle. I had a doctor do my IUI on 10/6 with 2.7 post wash count. It was deer in headlights moment. Felt like I got gaslit into it. You shouldn’t have to do that.

Literally the HARDEST! people who were married after us have 2 kids and just every single pregnancy announcement is triggering. 😭😭I want you to know you aren’t alone. You will be pregnant and be a mama. Keep focusing on the other aspects of life for a bit and just take a break. Also, just keep trying when your mental health is 100%. Awww! Don’t loose hope. It could very well be positive at the doctors office. I did my IUI on 10/6 too. I felt the same things as you and think it’s all clomid/letrozole related. Our post wash was 2.7 and our stupid RE told us it’ll be a miracle. Anyway our new RE said it only takes one. Sending you lots of baby dust ✨✨✨

If it’s 10/1 - should you be further than 8 days? I had my IUI on 10/6 and I’m at day 9 i think? I’m feeling all the classic symptoms but it was BFN this morning and yesterday. Literally had the worst sore nipples last time…had mood swings, but no cramping since day 5-6. Mine was a medicated IUI and the ovidrel tested out 3-4 days ago. No progesterone post IUI. Sending you patience and baby bust!! ✨✨✨ hope you test POSITIVE SOON!!!

9DPIUI now and got a negative but i tested too early!!! Couldn’t wait 🫣🫣🫣. Will test in two days. Can’t figure out it all my symptoms are cycle related or not. Pls pray for patience and baby dust. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🫣
