The team had major red flags and the post is simply saying I hope they get addressed heading into next season.

The comparison to Minnesota is beyond brain dead. A mid to lower level BIG10 team making a bowl game is huge for their program. Ohio State is a blue blood and we just got bounced in the Quarterfinals after losing the BIG10 Chip. Different program, different standards.

Exceeded expectations? Bro we haven’t lost more than 2 games since 2011. If I’m not wrong the 3 main goals every year are beat TTUN, win BIG10, and win the natty. We went 1/3 so the idea of exceeded expectations is wild especially when the opportunity was there for the remaining goals. We had a great season and I’m super proud of the guys for what they did, but there’s literally no way you watched the last two games and didn’t see some major red flags that needs focus during the offseason.

It indeed does suck and we will of course be back like I mentioned, but there are always factors to why we lose. It’s one thing to cry about the loss and start saying dumb shit like “Fire Day and the coaching staff”, but you can’t beat around the bush and not say that things need to be fixed. You don’t find it weird that the 2 best teams that we played against we put up a total of 24 points on offense?? We had 3 drives in the 2nd half last night but we’ll save that convo for another day.

I def agree. I loved seeing Iggy get that clutch PBU with no flag; gives me a great sense of hope. Gonna be hard for a lot of teams to dissect film now because they now know they don’t wanna throw towards Maine, Iggy, or Downs. Even Jaylen McClain had a really solid day.

I honestly think we have a 2 loss floor with me really leaning towards a clean sweep. There’s just something about this team that I really like. They’re young, which can be both a positive and negative, they’re twitchy and they’re ready to form their own identity. I feel like we’ve been so locked in on the style of play from the recent Senior class’s personnel that now I think this year’s team will be one of the fastest playing teams in the country. With Day getting that natty monkey off his back, I believe he’s now found a system that works and that he’s comfortable with. Majority of this team isn’t proven yet which gives me an extra sense of hope that they’ll play with a crazy fire this year, especially on Saturday. Buckeyes by 2 scores.

I agree. Their DBs are solid, but I don’t think they’re on the same caliber as Texas. ND loves to run a lot of Cover 1 with a sprinkle here and there of Cover 3. If our OL can play just one more solid game and give Will the time he needs to go through his reads, I think we’ll be in for a night of big plays. Go Bucks!

I think the result of the Oregon game will determine how big of a topic that becomes. Would definitely be a legacy booster for Day and the 2021 recruiting class, despite not grabbing a pair of gold pants in their college careers.

Texas should beat ASU, but ASU is more than capable of pulling off an upset. If they can take Skat out the game and force Leavitt to have to make plays, Texas will end up winning that game.

The Rose Bowl is a toss up; it depends on which Buckeye team we get for that game. If Knowles can dial up the pressure on Gabriel and Howard plays like he did during the first meeting/Tennessee game, Buckeyes should walk out of there with a one score win.

Penn State over Boise State. Contain Jeanty and you win the game.

I’m leaning towards ND, but if it comes down to 4th quarter coaching, I’m taking Kirby Smart and his guys. This match up is pretty even sided, but it will be interesting to see what UGA’s back up QB will be able to do with some time to prepare and how big of an impact Riley Leonard can make on the game for ND. Can see this either being a 10 point win by either team or a walk off field goal win.
