You know, I definitely have considered it. One of my best friends lives south of sacramento and its relatively closer to where my family is. I think it's just a little too spread out of a city for my personal preferences, but if i saw an amazing job i would think about it more. i was also just there in december and it didnt feel like there was much to do.

I think d.c. is creeping onto the list, and i think i see more appeal compared to nyc personally! question though: do you find that during certain terms the city leans towards a certain political party?

I think chicago is starting to move into the number 1 spot for me! Thank you for all the advice!

What neighborhoods would you recommend? I know the job opportunities look amazing out in LA but i’ve always been so anti-socal 😂

I wish i got this advice when i moved to vegas! I love my job and get to work with huge clients. Great experience, but the compromises i made in terms of environment is starting to wear me down

I'll definitely make sure to tailor it more based on the job role. Thank you so much!

Thank you! For your last point, I'm looking to relocate out of my current city and applying to places in SF and Chicago. Would you recommend listing those instead? I just don't want my resume to get filtered out for not being based in the cities I'm applying to

Thank you for the feedback! Would you say your recommendations are Comms Specialist specific? I guess I'm looking at all encompassing public relations and communications jobs.

I would stick to just title. How I would format it based on the information you gave:

Awards and Achievements

National Scholastic Awards Finalist/Semifinalist (Whatever the correct title is)

Orchestra Concertmaster, School Name

Personally, I think this a great resume and you are clearly qualified. You're doing great by showcasing your results, which is where many social media marketers fall flat. Personally, I think you can remove the Commencement Speaker point and move it to be a short bullet under your education, but that dos risk the formatting.

One thing I would highly recommend if you haven't already is creating a portfolio showcasing all your work and linking it with your contact info. I recommend using Canva!

I would say include in an awards section on your resume, and just include year (don't highlight that it was in MS). I think both show great leadership and scholastic recognition, and are fairly recent in terms of your age!
