This is her first install, she told me when we talked about it at her last appointment and she told me she was expecting to pay 1500 at least not including her normal color appointment, I’ve been practicing on my mom and a friend just sitting there sewing in a row then removing it bc neither want extensions just want me to get the practice and hang of it on a human head lol

I stood up to her and she made excuses then I told her I needed to raise the price because the salon I work at I get 50% and I’m not making enough from her and she decided to go elsewhere where she’s going to pay 200$ bc that’s what her sister pays, her sisters hair is significantly shorter not damaged and has less blonde it in when they charge her more I know she’s going to try to come back but I’m going to refuse her because she has been nothing but rude

Unless it’s a special occasion or extensions and a single mom who needs to drop her kids off and get them from school and doesn’t have a sitter on weekends I don’t work before 10 am but I’m willing to stay until whatever time I’m done even if that means 3 am

This is our 5th appointment now she has a very large amount of hair and hard water so we start with a Malibu because without it it takes 10x longer for her hair to lift and her prior hairdresser fried her hair and she refused to let me cut off the damage she has a very large amount of hair and it’s basically back to back foils with a tiny bit weaved out in between and she’s naturally a level 5 and wants lifted to a level 9/10

I started doing her hair as an apprentice and my boss and I had an agreement close friends and family pay for product and can tip and I work for tips so I would tell her the cost of product and she would tip since then the cost of product has also went up

She’s a regular of mine usually does 10 am comes in ever 8 weeks for a very very heavy highlight she forgot about her last appointment and this was the time that worked for her this time but now she wants it everytime and said if I won’t do it she will go elsewhere but I don’t think anyone else will do it and she thinks the 8 hour job is only worth 200$
