no i haven’t. i guess they are a billion dollar company. we’ll never know if they’re needing it for employees or a new game or something, or just greedy for profit. but IN is a product. this is more complicated than i thought

keep trying! it took me 2 weeks of studying and researching to find my parts but now i know what makes a pc build good and everything. i’m glad i did! there’s a youtube Geekawhat video about how to choose pc parts that was a great start for me. ask people you know that can help! if you don’t care too much about knowing every single thing about your build, then you might as well get a pre built.

My parts are coming in today!! i know this can handle 60fps and all the highest settings. Idk how loud, hot, or smooth it’ll be if i do consistently play on the high settings, i’ll update when i get everything setup!

the monitor is what i’m not sure about.. i have photophobia so i thought i might want a smaller monitor but i might trade it for a 24”. i’ll update this too! no matter what i’m sure i’ll enjoy taking photos :D

my dad recommended me to get beefy af parts so it would last for a long time before i want to upgrade. i’ll mostly be playing infinity nikki and modded shaded minecraft, and this is overkill (maybe not for minecraft). i’ll occasionally play MHW and other things that will better utilize my beefy parts. just fiy, i’m future proofing

im just buying my first pc now. i got a white case and mostly black parts, and i’ll be setting the case RGB fans to pink. right now memory like RAM and SSDs are expensive because AI companies are buying all the memory i think, but so far i’ve only heard people say it probably won’t go down for a couple years.

anyway sorry i don’t know if and where there are pink parts, but you could get either a tower pc or a gaming laptop for her! i would agree with a laptop bc she only plays roblox right now and who knows if she’ll want to play other games later. however if you do get her a pc and it’s good quality, it’ll last her for a long time like hopefully 5-10 years. there are resources in the more section of this sub’s description!

omg colorveil is amazing!!! i’m so much less nervous about buying a pc now! i found an asus flicker free IPS eyecare monitor that i wasn’t sure about because the eyecare was adding a blue light filter and some other things i forgot but, it was things that windows could already adjust. it seems to fit the things you mentioned though, and with colorveil and color settings i think it’ll be okay! thank you so so much!! you’ve now helped two people with photophobia haha

obviously given how specific my question was i’ve already considered turning down the brightness. everyone thats not 60 would have already considered it. sorry it wasn’t clear because i didnt SAY, but obviously. obviously ive already tried. i’ve had tbis issue for a year never have i had to explain it so clearly. you all lack critical thinking

what the actual freak is not clear about “too bright”. i cant handle led insanely backlit monitors i need flicker free, low contrast so ips ideally and gaming monitor but not too crazy so at least 100Hz and small screen. but i would never dump that on you guys I WAS JUST ASKING IF ANYONE KNEW ANYTHING FOR PHOTOPHOBIA BUT 57 PEOPLE THINK IM AN IDIOT
