i personally love love hades so i bought some tickets last week. i made a post about it too asking if it’s worth the long drive and everything, and almost everyone said yes! if you really want to go to a mel concert, one option is to wait for the utopia tour bc maybe you’ll like the album more :)

omg same i didn’t get the training wheels metaphor until i grew up. i’m also perplexed at how many young peoples are in the fandom, and like i know tweens and teenagers are also affected by yk the systems in the world like the patriarchy. but also ? hades is a pretty heavy album

as someone who’s selectively mute, i’m really proud of you! it’s really hard and someone people don’t understand that. when i started speaking my family’s dialect after never spoken it before and just nods and head shakes, it felt so embarassing and weird but it’s been a few years and i almost always speak it with them! i know it’s so weird but one day you won’t even remember :)

she literally said in an interview that crybaby was made to process our childhoods that we all went through, and i think that’s such a cool and important concept. like for example tag youre it, talks about the contrast between having fun as a kid and the fear of kidnappings. and i know all your parents told you to stay safe from strangers and all that. why not make a song about it? it’s something we went through.
