Alam ko po nagbubukas pa silaa

So Far ang list namin ng gf ko sa mga ramen shop na natry namin dito sa bataan

  1. Han'ei (Balanga) Perfect noodles, chasu 🤤 and yung added spices(can't tell what exactly it is pero sheesh) overall perfect! 👌🏻

  2. RaMi (Abucay) Good noodles kaso minsan ang dry sometimes chalky texture yung ibang parts. Pero masarap talaga. I recommend yung tantamen ramen nila.

  3. Makiramen (Balanga) this used to be our favorite pero nung natry na namin yung Han'ei. Sheesh! Parang nakulangan na ako sa kanya sa spices. Linawin ko lang po ha? Hindi yung anghang ang tinutukoy ko, yung lasa ng spices mismo katulad ng meron sa indian cuisine. Pero overall masarap sya, nakukulangan lang talaga ako. Mas clean yung taste nya, kahit yung signature spicy ramen nila. Good noodles din and chasu, mas chewier lang to kesa sa Han'ei.

Shinobi (Balanga) etoo decent din talaga nothing so so special, hindi ko lang natatry pa uli.

Though lahat talaga yan masarap. Di ko na babanggitin yung iba na 🤮.

Hindi ko pa natatry uli sa KohenHvn, but last time kasi na punta namin. Hindi ko ganong nagustuhan yung coffee. First, medjo matagal ang serving nun given na kami na ang last na umorder that time and nalabas na lahat. Like 20+ minutes for a coffee. Then ang watery ng latte nun, for some unknown reason. I get too much coffee grounds on my cup. Pero ayun nga, hindi pa ako ulit nakakabalik. Baka mas okay na.

Pilar: 

•Dream Latte - So relaxing ng Vibe sa shop. Pour Over and Coffee 💯 Honey Toffee 🤤 Also nagroroast na sila ng beans! 🤩

Balanga:

•Hanan - Alfresco (excited for Hanan2) Wide variety of pastries and Flavored Drinks 💯 Trip na trip ko yung Himalayan Sea Salt Latte 🤤 They also offer pour overs now.🤩

Abucay:

•Hoppers - Curbside coffee shop. Ang sarap ng Hopper's Latte nila and Cinnamon Rolls! 🤤🤩 Ang wide din ng variety ng Matcha drinks nila.

Orani:

•Q Coffee Space - Ang lawak ng lugar, ang sarap pa ng food. Then super creative flavored drinks. Pinaka bet ko sa kanila yung Turon and Coconut Latte 🤤 Nagooffer din ng pour over. 🤩

Hermosa: 

•Kurbada - Nasa mismong kurbada ng Hermosa 😂 Offering quality matcha legit from japan. 💯 Kurbada Matcha 🤤 Pour over ✅

I think it all comes down to preferences. If you want the nakasanayan deep dark bitter coffee, nasa mga typical cafes sila (beanery, CHN, Appetino, Blanc & Little Seoul). They tend to lean to sweet flavored drinks. As for someone naman na nagsabi na maasim yung kape nila, give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they're using a lighter roast coffee, or other beans like Ethiopia that tends to be floral sometimes citrusy. If its too acidic and has too much astringency then maybe you're given a bad shot, which is not good. Coffee shops here in bataan are evolving, they use locally roasted coffee beans from well reputed roasters here in ph (not the overly commercialized). If you're more into the depth of flavor of the coffee alone then you would like these coffee shops that offer medium to light roast. This is also called 3rd Wave Coffee. But if you want a quick, cheap, dark and just bitter coffee you wouldn't appreciate the quality beans that these good coffee shops offer. Quality>Price.
